📝 Clarification regarding Avatarfest's history.
Avatarfest is unrelated to anything that came afterwards.
Working on a V3 (VERSION 3) of the Weather Online System. A friend once reminded me "-What about cities you find on many places with same name?". I was a valid question: V2 script would take one randomly. Now, one can either specify on dialog menu "Springfield, IL,US (Illinois, United States) or insert the latitude/longitude coordinates. Also I made all, I said ALL countries codes available on script so if one select a city, it will show on open chat the full name in English of the country. Still need do some tweaks and test before releasing it.

The Annual Hypergrid Community Celebration that began as AvatarFest, became OpenSimFest, and is now #OSFest2025, is a 3D virtual festival where anyone from any OpenSimulator grid can participate from any timezone! Starting this year, you can now host OSFest events on your home grid or, as always, get a free exhibit or store parcel on the OSFest grid. Artists, creators, builders, merchants, educators, developers, grid owners, performers, and hosts - you can showcase whatever, celebrate however, or host wherever you want. Help others find you on the Hypergrid by being a part of the celebration - virtually together.
For #OSFest2025, rather than a specific theme, since anyone can now participate whether on their home grids or the OSFest grid, take a look at this year's logo created by Banker Ibor. Themes that come to mind are Celebration, Culture, Fantasy, SciFi, Space, Avatars, Fashion, Shopping, Holidays, Hypergrid, and more. Whatever theme you see in the logo is your theme - be inspired!

Join us Every Thursday for Game Day here at the mall in the "Game Central" building. We have lots of fun games for everyone so c'mon over and see if we have one for you! And we'll be adding more as we get them. Every Thursday at 1pm grid time see you there!!! When you arrive here at the mall use the "Manhole cover" telepad and select "Game Central".
On Friday a special event @ Rosies outdoor venue, Live performers Khiron at 2PM Nazirah at 3PM, and Putri at 4 PM grid time - Pangea Grid. See you there :) No dress code (don't come naked btw)

Wie auch immer - ausfallen wird der Abend also nicht - schlimmstenfalls schiebe ich euch die Liste auf den Stream und ihr müsst mal auf seine dummen Sprüche verzichten.
