	Speck 8 hours ago Morning all :) I think there's room for both "pure" OS and "DG". For many who just need to play and not get technical DG is a great thing. Pure OS doesn't had a lot of the easy tools and auto services and does need some linux operating knowledge as a minimum.

	Dorena Verne^✦ yesterday I think switching to Linux was the right decision. My database has grown quite a bit over the past 16 years, which is why I put it off for far too long because of work.
	Dorena Verne^✦ yesterday I finally decided to switch. I rented a very high-performance server and set up a minimal Debian installation. Then I installed all the packages needed to run a grid. Now the regions are being migrated one by one, and the grid services last.

	Speck yesterday I know Fred has been asked ad nauseam about producing a Linux version of DG but it's not his bag. We owe him a big thank you for what he did make, so many more residents of these worlds because of Fred. Thank you Fred.
