After 12 long years trapped in legal limbo—chained up, stored away in a locked vault, and frozen by a bitter land dispute that had nothing to do with Opensea Cruise Lines—the MS Axiom is finally breaking free.
What started as a dream project for a revolutionary cruise experience (complete with 4 Regions of Ship!) got caught in the crossfire: a tangled mess between landowners, leasing investors, and shadowy no-name cartels who seized control of the construction site. While the battles raged in courtrooms and on disputed acres, the ship sat silent, her decks gathering dust, her systems outdated, and her future uncertain. Opensea Cruise Lines fought to keep her alive, but the chains held firm—until now.
On March 3, 2026, the litigation lifted, the locks were cut, and the revival began. Engineers are already aboard, airing her out, cataloging missing pieces, and drafting urgent work assignments. Modern systems are being wired in, outdated tech replaced, and reconstruction kicked off this week. The MS Axiom isn't just being repaired—she's being reborn stronger, smarter, and ready for her next chapter.
And now, the story gets documented.
Yesterday, we were officially invited into the MS Axiom's new construction facility to set up cameras, lighting, and all the gear needed to capture every weld, every upgrade, and every triumphant moment. Mighty vessels will clash on the high seas, where brave (or possibly just stubborn) captains will attempt to blow up the other captains' ship while desperately trying NOT to become a submarine themselves — a surprisingly tricky balance, as it turns out!

Whether you fancy yourself a daring captain, a trigger-happy gunner, or simply a wide-eyed spectator who's there purely for the explosions, there's a spot with your name on it!
