Slope Game Online: Mastering the Ultimate High-Speed 3D Endless Runner
I saw a post about terrain textures and had the idea for TerrainSkin. I made a module that reads the height of the region and creates a mesh and applies the texture you specify. This is the first test that worked on dev grid so it doesn't really look good but it will be interesting to have a mesh skin over the terrain you can texture however you want without the repeats. The reason I came up with this module is so it will work on any viewer without modification. Look forward to perfecting the idea. The module calculates low/mid/high LOD and normals on the mesh and creates an asset. It's not necessary to use blender, but you could export and play with it in blender if you wanted to. It's not automatic if you alter the terrain but it's simple command to regenerate (removes existing mesh first) or just a simple command remove the terrain mesh skin. it's like instant. Coming soon to Holoneon Grid.

I was creating a Landing Area for New People from Sinespace who have never been in Opensim and I thought I would post the most basic that most people look over for Mesh Clothing. Just my thoughts. BOM is back with some Mesh avatars.
Another example of how it looks like when one can paint your own texture on SIM ground.Mountains on background are part of the sim, terraformed. the one at bottom, mesh. You don`t even see the difference anymore.

They danced in the void, sowing life with every beat of their wings of light. Wherever they passed, the earth awakened, forests sprang up, rivers flowed, and wondrous creatures came to life.
Yet not all these lights were alike. Some, wise and benevolent, guided travelers toward knowledge; others, capricious, lured them onto dark paths where ancient secrets lay dormant.

on my very first region Cozy Comforts World i had created a big hill for that kind of party... is an open air place with lots of animals... i will update it for the party on thursday...
(I wonder if thursday is really better than sunday what i used to have for events for many years... in opensim are 5 events at the same time, often spontaneously, anyway it is not possible to really plan anything and is like roulette on any evening of the week...)

And this issue existed long before AI.
Before AI, I used RhinoGold to create studio renders of my jewelry. Those renders often looked considerably better than the jewelry could look inworld at the time—not because the product was different, but because professional rendering gave me control over lighting, reflections and the environment.
Virtual worlds don't have natural sunlight. What we see is rendered by software, and the final appearance depends on the viewer, graphics settings, lighting, environment settings and the technology available at the time.
Then PBR came along, and suddenly materials such as gold could look dramatically more realistic inworld—for people using a PBR-capable viewer with the appropriate settings.
That's an important point: there are many variables affecting what any individual visitor sees.
Two people can stand in front of exactly the same object or in exactly the same region and have a noticeably different visual experience because of their viewer, graphics settings, lighting and hardware.
So expecting an advertisement to reproduce exactly what every person will see on their own screen isn't a reasonable standard.
The reasonable standard is that the advertisement fairly represents the region or product being advertised.
AI doesn't change that.
What works for one creator may not work for another. What looks good on one person's system may not look identical on someone else's. That's always been part of creating for virtual worlds.
Nobody gets to declare, “My AI use is responsible, therefore mine is acceptable, but I don't approve of yours.”
Creators don't need permission from other creators to use new technology.
If you don't like AI, don't use it.
If you do use it, use it responsibly.
And if you're wondering whether my AI advertisement represents Tumbletwig, there is a wonderfully simple way to find out:
Come visit Tumbletwig and see it for yourself.
That is the comparison that matters.

I have been waiting for so long to get this script working... looks like we get it soon... can be we open the Dating Agency before we open the whole region... stay tuned!
Now I made up my mind and discussed it with my team - Sunrise is maybe a better perspective for a new beginning... could be after a night on the dancefloor or whatever you might think of... The Sunrise Dating Agency is new anyway so we can do the best we can to make it interesting for everybody who wants to find a good partner or only use it for communication exchanging notecards with new ideas... choose your favorite picture and write any (friendly) text that is coming to your mind... i cant wait to see what happens!

One now can paint his own texture on the SIM ground and control its repetition using the Wolfviewer. That feature though is only seen by those who uses such software (even coming from other grids but must be seen in WT grid only) ... and I indeed loved the outcome! SL 4-layered-old style.... U SUCK BADLY! lol

A Linda Kellie Tribute
All season long we are paying TRIBUTE to Linda Kellie. Much of our park uses her foundational work, unfortunately we up-cycled it in the opposite direction and THE GHOST is not too happy about that.
I will keep this post updated as I have more details on the event to share.
I have going crazy and I invite you to come with me...
Currently in the works we will start out out this THEME PARK event much the same way you would if you would if you were to bring family, friends or group to a real Fun Fair.
ACT ONE: In the QUEUE waiting in line for the PARK TO OPEN. CRAMMED together like canned fish, waiting for the doors to open. Everyone HATES waiting in line so this is the PERFECT PLACE to start... and I can guarantee nobody else ever thought of torturing their guests in such a way... TRUST ME... it is going to be a riot... I promise... The jester littered a ridiculous amount of interactive objects there and it is a great way to lead into:
ACT TWO: Menace in the MOAT - AND - The Ghost of Linda Kellie Fashion Show
ACT THREE: The Masquerade BALL... Wear your favorite COSTUME and ENJOY this TRIBUTE to Linda Kellie.
