Jupiter Rowland was wondering in an earlier post why The Virtual Museum had not heard about Opensim. This chart from 2022 from Metaversed Consulting is a reminder of just where Opensimulator places in the metaverse, and is very likely why the Virtual Museum hasn't heard of us. We're one of the tiny dots under Older Users. By 2024, Opensimulator didn't even register on this chart at all. Personally, I love Opensim and plan to be here as long as it's running, whether or not we are recognized by the rest of the virtual world.

Ferd took a model with over 800 parts then used Blender modifiers to clean edges, and a script that helped to reduce the level of detail. He made it six layers of over a hundred parts each then stacked it on top of the mountain.
