I love challenges, but my recent review mentioned that my belly button rings are not rigged for Athena. Athena is not a standard avatar shape so when rigging with Avastar it isn't quite right. My belly button rings are meant to attach to the belly for standard shapes. I just added a new Peace sign belly button ring that attaches to the standard avatar belly. I never say never, but this time I am - I don't want to take a ripped rig into blender to please my critics.

@FerdFrederix suggests "If you were to become a bug, you could do so by wearing an avatar that would allow you to experience the world from a bug's perspective. Imagine visiting a garden where everything is to scale, and you could truly be the bug. You would be able to explore this miniature world, see the intricacies of the plants and flowers, and feel the wind blowing through the grass virtually. You could crawl through tunnels and crevices, and even fly to new heights. Being a bug could give you a whole new appreciation for the world around you and the creatures that inhabit it." this is precisely why I adore Fred. I found a really cute ladybug that he helped to animate and for the last two days, I have been carving out a bug paradise where everything is to scale if you were a bug. I have free avatars that Fred gave us, his Rat, Blue Bird, and I am giving the ladybug so that you can experience the garden too. This is the set I am currently working on. I have the earrings in the store in Sapphire and Turquoise. I am still working on getting the choker in, playing with the convex hull, the earrings uploaded just fine, but the choker is being a bit tricky lol.

I added a shop to the Catena di Isole Freebie Mall "Classic Closet". I have decided to wear the default-system-classic avatar and in doing so I decided to create clothes to wear and give what I create freely. I will also give out Fate Mesh clothing that I have textured with a texture-changing script giving you multiple choices. The clothing fits Classic Avatar wearing Alphas old school but I am diggin' it! Thank you Jamie Anna Wright for the inspiration. I created a Marquee sign free to copy, inside the contents I placed other textures you can use for various Marquee Signs, and also you can add your own! The Marquee sign is in the Monentes store foyer.

I enjoy creating caged beads and thought it would be fun to create a little kit of a few caged beads, round and elongated beads so that you can create your own necklaces. You can also add these to your charm bracelets. I started you out with a few beads and will add more beads as I make them.

It was brought to my attention a few weeks back that some AMV residents were having issues teleporting to our VHG grid. We at VHG do not ban avatars-we have no grids banned. Something is preventing teleportation though I just tested it. I was able to teleport to AMV fine from my Mind Odyssey sim, by touching the sign I made Nyx that teleports visitors directly to his AMV exhibit. But trying to return to VHG I was ghosted. It took me several minutes and trying different things to become unstuck or ghosted. I did change the name of the Grid to virtual-hg.com:8002 but HG has been working fine to and from VHG just not to AMV. I have lots of visitors from various grids so it is working, and I have seen Nyx teleport in a time or two. I do apologize to the people who wanted to visit us from AMV and couldn't. I will continue to look and see what the cause could be, as I said we have no grid or avatars banned.

Today is a great day for a little Odyssey. "When light bounces off of something and is reflected back into a human’s eyes, we perceive color. For millennia, color has been one of the elements of art that artists use to render the world as they see it." When you view the colors the Mind Odyssey artists display, such as Nyx Breen, you will see a dance of color and movement. Make sure you take the time to spend here and appreciate the artists of OpenSim.

Nyx Breen has added new exhibits to Mind Odyssey art exhibit. When viewing the exhibits Nyx created you need to take the time to absorb and feel what he is trying to convey.  You feel the positive and negative forces in Forces of Motion; 6  Sided Singularities try to figure out how this illusion was created.  Waverly Walls is created blending beautiful hues of magenta and blue. He also added a piece that I created to the exhibit, explaining to me how he illuminated it to making it unrecognizable to me-the talent here will inspire you. Those of you with Blender should add the Sketchfab addon. It saves steps from hopping from one website to Blender. With the addon is adding a sketchfab library to your Blender desktop. I have been using it to import high heels for my mesh avatars. It has been fun!

Christmastime all snowy and white, bundled up in my little cabin I think of all of you. The many friends I have made in opensim thank you for all the great times and laughter. Thank you FreyaJo8 for giving me inspiration. In the beginning when first learning to create jewelry I asked about rigging. It was suggested to me at the time to not rig because it gave to many issues like the necklace doesn't lay right but instead flops around unrealistically. So with that I shelved the idea of rigging and did not want the added expense of Avastar. So Freya commented that the rings float and don't lay right, so it prompted me to research again to see what is new with rigging. As it turns out there is a kit for Maitreya with mesh hands that are rigged so it is just a matter of placement of ring on model. I have MS so have a very hard time with dexterity and vision so getting it to place just right is the challenge for me but it is a new year with new goals and this is one. I will work hard at trying to get all "new" rings rigged, just please be patient with me :)
