The novel centers on Jackson Oz, an outcast among professional and academic ecologists and biologists. Oz has tried for years to get other scientists to listen to the data he has collected on the increasing number of mammal attacks on humans. He becomes so obsessed with this goal that he quits graduate school and devotes himself to full-time data collection and arguing his case. Finally, on a trip to Botswana, he survives an attack by a large band of male lions in which about 100 people are killed over a large area. He saves the life of ecologist Chloe Tousignant. Upon returning to America, he finds his girlfriend dead in his apartment, killed and partly eaten by his pet chimpanzee.
Five years later, Oz has married Chloe and they have a son named Eli. His theory becomes accepted, as all over the world, packs of animals are entering densely populated cities and killing humans en masse. He is recruited by the US president to research the cause, but before he and his team of scientists can find an answer, the president's daughter is killed by their dog, and the military launches strikes against affected cities, which worsens the attacks. Continuing his research, Oz discovers that animal pheromones have changed due to the widespread use of radio communication (cell phones) and petroleum products (notably automobile exhaust), and these disrupted pheromones are enlarging the animals' amygdalas and causing the aggression. She/He, whatever, maybe a monkey, who knows… lol They messaged me and told me to open my damn Free Animal sims so they could come in and grab the animals since they are making a better free animal sim….
I said, "No problem, make your free animal sim, and you're very welcome to come collect all the animals your heart desires."
But as in my last notice, I did say if I'm working, I may close Free Animals for the day or an hour or whatever.
They say back to me, "Well, hurry it up, BITCH……" That damn calling name again, ok…I told them to have a nice day and banned it….

Approaching alpha. As that point draws closer, my work starts on promotional graphics and the visual design of the game. I came to Opensim from SL years ago to have the opportunity to work on a larger canvas and push the boundaries. Now I will have the largest canvas imaginable and I'm excited.
The developer and I met several years ago here on Opensim and collaborated on several fun projects, becoming fast friends. We developed the expanded concept for Starlite here, hoping to create and streamline a fork of OS code to fit our vision, but that was not possible. With the exception of the Vulkan renderer, everything else for Starlite was written from scratch.

I would like to address some people's questions about why they can't access my store or are banned.
There may be various reasons for this. For one thing, your grid is or has been blocked by OSGrid, or you are a HG Blocked User...but I think the main reason is that you simply took my stuff and offered it for sale under your name on your grid or store without asking me or my permission. You were even so cheeky that you altered the images that normally bear my logo. To get to the point... I'm sick of risking my ass for those people and investing my time so that they can take credit for other people's work!!! Even if you keep trying to come up with ALTs, your ass will be banned, as some have found out in the last few days. So keep your ass to yourself on the grids, get something going of your own, but don't think I'm a stupid little noodle. I'm better skilled than you can ever imagine, and I'll catch you again and again.

We've realized the swimming orbs often reset to private once the grid gets a restart.
Apologies for this inconvenience and we are working on resetting to public where the orbs are located, the ones at Paradise are reset at the main beach!
