You is very good but.. fixing clients errors from server side without backward sinchronization is very bad idea. What you will say to user XXXXX who find some problem with assets? (illegally and partialy stolen from HG)

The issues are that the outfits folder loses all its links, they just end up with a pile of folders so I just roll it back from the day before.

Just in case you didn't see it, thats been fixed in dev master. To do the broken links it's just this:
update inventoryfolders set type = 47 where foldername='My Outfits' and type = -1;
That's the fix for past IARs. Future IARs are in dev master. See Mantis 9180

AFAIK, the issue mentioned by Lone Wolf doesn't concern IARs. It's about the inventory of a logged-in avatar losing almost all its links, including almost all links in outfits, during regular operation. I've seen this happen occasionally and irregularly when I try to save a new outfit. Irregularly, but often enough that I can eventually reproduce it. (Yes, I'm a guy. Yes, I have a male avatar. Yes, I make outfits for my avatar.)
My guess is that it has to do with new folders occasionally not being created where it's supposed to be created. I've sent a ticket to the Wolf Territories admins already.
Curiously, this does not happen on the other grids where I have avatars, so this might be an OpenSim-Tranquility (ex OpenSim-Sasquatch, ex OpenSim-NGC) issue. But when something like this happens while I'm logged in with the Cool VL Viewer, it does not delete almost all my links from all over the inventory.

I'm not sure why whatever I do to try to help people I get told off for. it makes no sense. Gentle fire grid for instance. When they came to me they couldn't even boot their server, I fixed it so they could boot it an pull the data on to a new server, that was it. But oh no I'm wrong for doing that. I don't get it why everything I do is wrong.

I have found that every FS viewer above 6.6.14 has an inventory load bug which prevents inventory fetching correctly on log in. Just gonna stick with 6.6.14 until the bugs fixed.

Everyone needs to block version 6.6.16 from entering their grids. { Thanks for letting us know about this issue in opensimulator so late in the game firestorm people... }

Well firestorm and lindenlabs blocked it. To stop their databases getting messed up. So if you would like to block it, just do it in the dreamgrid options that says [BAN]

nvm ill ask someone else, i just wanted to know how to type it correct on the lin. I know how to ban people in dg but i dont know how to ban a specific viewer version
