Sacred Savanah
Amidst the ancient sands and beneath an ethereal orange sky that seems to hold the echoes of bygone battles, there lies a land born anew from the ashes of war and destruction. Here, in this sacred Savannah, nature and history intertwine in a delicate dance of resilience and regeneration.
As the sun dips low on the horizon, casting a warm, amber glow over the arid landscape, the land seems to exhale a collective sigh—a testament to the trials it has endured and the hope that now stirs within its depths. The scorched earth, once ravaged by conflict, now bears the promise of rebirth, as tender shoots of green push their way through the barren soil, reclaiming their rightful place in the sun.
In this landscape of renewal, a sanctuary arises—a haven for both endangered wildlife and priceless relics of antiquity. Here, beneath the watchful gaze of the ancient pyramids, elephants roam freely, their majestic forms silhouetted against the vibrant hues of the setting sun. Lions, once symbols of power and conquest, now find solace in the shadows of crumbling temples, their fierce spirits tempered by the wisdom of ages past.
But it is not only the animals that find sanctuary in this sacred land. Nestled amidst the dunes lie ancient ruins and forgotten tombs, relics of a civilization lost to time. Carved from the very bedrock of the earth, these monuments stand as silent witnesses to the ebb and flow of history, their weathered facades bearing the scars of countless generations.
Here, among the whispers of the wind and the shifting sands, the past is preserved and honored—a reminder of the enduring legacy of those who came before. As night falls and the stars emerge like jewels scattered across the heavens, the land seems to pulse with quiet, timeless energy—a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth.

This clock was originally built by Zia Frimon. She used 5 scripts in the root prim, A script in the minute hand, A script in the hour hand, A script in the alarm, A script in the light, A script in the chimes. Zia used 10 scripts in total that were very lengthy and very complex. Zia's clock used a nice chunk of sim cpu, and in present day they didn't work well at all. The clock was unsettable as the hands would go to a random position regardless of what you set them to. Zia's scripts in total were over a thousand lines of code. So here is my clock. The second hand sweeps like a rolex. The chimes work and are at the hour, and quarter hour. The hands turn and keep real world time. You set your time zone by entering it in the object description and resetting the script. Example: Eastern Standard Time is -8. Fortunately, we are back in full swing and that has yielded results. Samsara has a shop, there was a lot of demand for the creations on Samsara, and "Sharing is Caring". Not everything is in stock yet, but it is a start. Hop over and take a look in and around the shop.

Tell me about old times, Jeanne. Monkey yawned. We were tired after a day of working on the Caribou regions.

My thoughts went to Skuld, my stray cat whom I miss so much and always will love dearly.

One night in early Second Life, two shy and misplaced souls met outside a strip club. We were too scared to go inside.

We said hi and became friends. Skuld moved from her cardboard box to a Romanian cottage in early Caribou. She found Ariadna, a sweet girl from Romania. They became inseparable.

I was alone. I had lost my SL friend and daughter. Little was weak after a car accident and joined the real angels too soon.

The Mama in me had nobody to take care of.

I got caught by the club and sex scene. A Mistress picked me up and set me dancing on a pole.

Night after night I danced in a quiet club, afraid of losing my life again.

Mostly I was alone. Sometimes someone came. Most had no Linden Dollars.

The Mama in me felt sorry and ended up helping them with a few.

Once a small stocky black cat came in. She just sat there, looking quietly at me.

“Jeanne, friends are the most important thing that we have. Don’t lose us. Come home.”

My stray cat Skuld woke me up. I went back home to Caribou, to Skuld and Ariadna and Kallu and Diana. I was with my friends.

“Could this happen today”, I think Monkey asked.

Yes Monkey. It did. I slipped once again, much later, when I was alone again.

I was helped back by friends who cared.

I am still grateful. Always and forever.

So there was some bugs in the magic huds that prevented them from working on some simulator versions. I believe I have fixed these issues. The huds I've been able to update so far are: The Witches Hud, The Fae Hud, The Elven Hud. If you encounter any problems with these 3 huds at all, please send me a message on here, and I will fix them. I have not yet fixed the vampires magic ring or the wizardry hud, but will get around to it sometime this week as I have been very sick the past 4 days, and have a lot going on in real life.

For some, it seems to be sometime tougher to be kind behind pixels. Our values and standards should not change, just because there isn't an immediate and apparent accountability to what we do or say. Be kind.

My build from the weekend, it's called Kippah Romantica which translated means, Dome of Romance. The first level has a swimming pool with plenty of room for poolside tables and chairs and maybe a bar. Second floor has plenty of room for a dance area. Some folks wonder why I don't decorate the builds more, well....I think people like to decorate their own to their own tastes and they can take great personal pride in that. So this is full perm and free and waiting to decorate your region. It is partial mesh to reduce the overall prims. Pick one up and have fun with it. Blessings and much love, Lavia.
