@LillySparks contributions not only advanced the technology of virtual surfing but also brought people together, creating a more vibrant and cohesive community. Her work remains a testament to the power of innovation in enhancing virtual worlds and the experiences they offer. I feel my dream is finally realized, to have quality surfing in opensim is a beautiful thing but the cohesive community is just heartwarming. Seeing Hyacinth creating her new surf region gave me total goosebumps because in SL in the beginning that is how it was, everyone was creating their surf sims, creating their teams and all coming together each month for a surf comp, we can do this too! We can create our surf sims, our teams, and have fun competitions. Lag right now might be a thang to overcome if we have lots of action other than surfing on the sim, we might have to have the competitions in a stripped down sim with just the waves and boards but there is so much hope for this!! I am over the moon excited about our future! Un viaggio alle Hawaii non è alla portata di tutti, ma niente ci ha impedito di invitare l'arcipelago hawaiano a casa di Mariposita per una festa a tema Hawaii, organizzata in occasione dell'apertura di questa stagione estiva.
L'atmosfera era semplicemente incantevole, i colori scelti erano quelli giusti, quelli dell'oceano, capaci di trasmettere un senso di pace e serenità.
Mariposita ha saputo ricreare uno scenario mozzafiato, ricco di dettagli che ci hanno permesso di immergerci completamente nell'atmosfera paradisiaca delle isole, curando ogni dettaglio con grande attenzione, assicurandosi che non mancasse nulla per farci viaggiare con la fantasia e trasportarci su una spiaggia paradisiaca. Dall'arredamento tematico ai cocktail esotici, dolci e rinfrescanti, tutto contribuiva a creare un'esperienza sensoriale completa. Ogni sorso di quei drink ci faceva sentire come se fossimo realmente sulle spiagge delle Hawaii, sotto il sole caldo e circondati dal suono delle onde.
La serata è stata animata dal nostro DJ Tombeur, che, maestoso come sempre, ci ha coinvolto con la sua musica e la sua energia contagiosa. Le sue scelte musicali hanno creato la colonna sonora perfetta per una festa indimenticabile, facendoci ballare e divertire come mai prima d'ora. La sua preziosa presenza ha reso l'evento ancora più speciale, trasformando una semplice serata in un'esperienza straordinaria.
Possiamo dire a gran voce che è stata una serata pazzesca!
Grazie come sempre a tutti voi per aver partecipato e per aver contribuito a rendere l'evento un grande successo. Senza di voi, la festa non sarebbe stata la stessa.
Un ringraziamento speciale va a Mariposita per aver creato un luogo così bello da guardare e da godere, con ogni dettaglio pensato per il nostro piacere e per farci sentire davvero alle Hawaii. Non possiamo dimenticare gli abiti meravigliosi che ha realizzato per noi, ciascuno dei quali era un'opera d'arte a sé stante, aggiungendo un tocco di eleganza e stile all'intera serata.

Any sources for a working bowling alley? I have seen many in my travels but none are able to be taken/bought. Ideally hoping to find one with full perms on the scripts as well, but I'll take what I can get. 😅

People have been going to cyberdatastorm.com:8002:Wizardry and going to the 5th floor of my little castle and trying to enter the locked doors of the computer room. Some have even zoomed their cameras through the locked doors into the server room and into the locked server cabinet, and tried to mess with my overwatch sentry security server. Please do not do this anymore. It tells me when you do that and I will ban you from Wizardry which I hate to do. It is very annoying to me when you do this. Wizardry is there to offer up free stuff i create to people, and there is no reason or need for you to go through all that trouble to turn off my sim security. Thank you.

We are at 14 and growing for the "Friends of The Genesis Roleplay Grid" wall. If you are not aware of it, to be on the Friends of the GRPG wall, all you have to do, is contact me, Lavia Lavine, either here in message or in world and let me know you want to have your region or grid represented in the wall. This will get you a walk through portal from our grid to yours and it will bear your logo and landmark, and that's really all there is to it. Some have asked me why I do this, well it's because with all the hatred, negativity and ridiculous competition in open sim, I felt it would be good to do something positive, just as I've seen other's do from time to time. It's not a "new" idea but it is sure a good one to get regions and grids networking with each other and growing a larger community. It's truly amazing to see the wonderful, beautiful creations that people have come up with for their grids and it's great fun to share it by networking. Heads up people. There are faggots here on OWS. And according to the all-round bully who used that word in the box, fags just need to "toughen up" and not let words bother them.

Among other kinds of hurtful behavior, bullies do like to name-call and make fun of others. Name-calling is more than disrespectful. It’s verbal and emotional abuse that can be hurtful and harmful. Typically bullies will deny the harm caused, and even just not care.

Studies have found bullying peaks around ages 11 to 13 and decreases as children grow older. When adult bullies excuse their abuse by saying “toughen up,” it’s tempting to say “grow up.” But some kids never grow up. Many who were bullies as children turn into antisocial adults. They are far more likely than non-aggressive kids to commit crimes, batter their wives, abuse their children—and produce another generation of bullies.

As wounding as a bully’s own childhood may have been, its important to distinguish between people who have problems and people who are problems. Bullies are problems. We don’t need to “toughen up”. Rather, we need to get tough on them to end their abusive behavior. How that plays out in OS would seem to be a work in progress. But calling abusive behavior what it is is a start. The Love Is Love Alliance can be helpful by identifying places in OS that are not only free of homophobic bullies, but also intentionally inclusive and respectful.
