Well, the man hasn't been online for 1.5 years now, I have no contact with him anymore, I have given up on email and Discord.
If anyone is still in contact with him via Facebook, email or other means,
please let me know.

Yes â a grid restart can cause creator/owner names to change
But only under certain conditions. Hereâs the real technical behavior behind it:
1. If the original creatorâs UUID is missing or not recognized
OpenSim identifies creators by UUID, not by the visible name.
If, during a restart:
the grid loses connection to the user database
the creatorâs account wasnât loaded yet
the asset server hiccups
the region boots before the grid services fully register users
âŠthen OpenSim may fallback to the region ownerâs UUID or the first recognized avatar as the âcreator.â
This results in:
Textures suddenly showing you as the creator
Objects showing the wrong creator
Items reverting to âUnknown Userâ or âResidentâ
This is a known OpenSim behavior.
