I used to love Windows until microsoft started FORCING everyone to have an online microsoft account that you can NO LONGER opt out of without serious high magic and technical ability. I am seriously considering turning my main machine into a linux machine after this debacle.

	Speck yesterday If you're not techy try DG and if it does all you need then use it and have fun. When things are getting more serious then take a look at the "pure alternative" - more work often means more rewards.
	Speck yesterday Morning all :) I think there's room for both "pure" OS and "DG". For many who just need to play and not get technical DG is a great thing. Pure OS doesn't had a lot of the easy tools and auto services and does need some linux operating knowledge as a minimum.
	Dorena Verne^✦ yesterday I don't mean any harm, but I simply don't understand why so many people are hesitant to use the original OpenSimulator.org. When I started with my grid 16 years ago, I learned how to use it. Believe me, it makes you a lot more independent.

	Dorena Verne^✦ 2 days ago I think switching to Linux was the right decision. My database has grown quite a bit over the past 16 years, which is why I put it off for far too long because of work.
