We are looking for all roles, from Weyrleaders to Master Crafters to Holders to Harpers to Farmers. At this point, we are focusing on the people. Come help us create this world. Also will include the farming system with Pern-specific items.

CAN | Die Pioniere des Krautrock

Die deutsche Band CAN, 1968 in Köln gegründet, war weit mehr als nur eine Musikgruppe; sie war eine selbsternannte „anarchistische Gemeinschaft“, deren Einfluss die Musiklandschaft nachhaltig prägen sollte.
Ihre Methode, Musik durch kollektive Improvisation und akribische Nachbearbeitung im Studio zu erschaffen,
war revolutionär und zog Parallelen zur Arbeit von Avantgarde-Komponisten wie Karlheinz Stockhausen, bei dem zwei der Gründungsmitglieder studiert hatten.
Diese einzigartige Fusion aus akademischer Disziplin und radikaler kreativer Freiheit ermöglichte es CAN, die Grenzen des Rock zu sprengen und ein völlig neues Genre mitzugestalten: den Krautrock.

🎉 Integration between OpenSim NewLifeItaly Grid and Hexivia Videochat: real-time IM messages!
A bridge between metaverse and web in real time.
The Hexivia platform has recently completed an advanced integration with the OpenSim NewLifeItaly grid, allowing the sending of IM (Instant Message) messages directly from the web videochat to the avatars present in the grid.
This feature, developed internally by the Hexivia team, opens new possibilities for synchronous communication between users connected via browser and users present in the virtual world.
🔧 How does it work?
Users connected to the Hexivia videochat can see who is currently online in the grid (NewLifeItaly).
It is possible to send private messages (IM) to those avatars with a simple click.
The system routes the messages in real time to the script resident in the grid, which receives via HTTP and forwards the IM to the specific user.
Everything happens with an elegant interface, directly integrated into the videochat experience, without the need for external software or additional logins.
🔐 Security and privacy
Messages are securely forwarded through authenticated HTTP endpoints.
The sender's name is included to ensure transparency in communication.
Messages are logged server-side for internal audits (optional).
🌍 Why it's important
This integration represents a step forward in interoperability between web platforms and decentralized metaverses. Connecting web users to those in OpenSim (without requiring client viewers) opens up scenarios:
Educational
Social
Events
Remote assistance
👨‍💻 The developer
The entire integration was designed and developed by Hexivia, the same team that manages and develops the videochat platform.
With attention to technical details, performance and usability, the system is designed to be scalable, extensible and ready for future evolutions (such as two-way notifications, avatar presence, etc.).
