Today we mourn the loss of a truly wonderful live performer, Beccca Baxton. Her music, her spirit, and her love for sharing joy touched everyone around her. She adored dressing up, stepping into the spotlight, and giving people the gift of her voice wherever she went.
Becca was a strong, loving soul—full of warmth, creativity, and generosity. She left us far too young, passing away early this morning, and the ache of that loss is felt deeply across our community.
My prayers go out to her family, her friends, and to everyone in OpenSim and beyond who had the privilege of knowing her. Hold her close in your heart so her spirit, her music, and her light can continue to live on through us.

The Winter Fair Has Opened — Gloves On, Fun Guaranteed!
Now that the Winter Fair has officially opened, there’s even more to enjoy during the holidays! As every year, the legendary 11 Cities Skating Tour is back — a delightfully icy adventure. Skates are provided, warm winter sweaters are included, and dignity is optional.
At the starting point, you can choose your destiny:
Explore the snowy little city with its charming winter market (yes… freebies 👀),
or
Strap on your skates, grab a map, and vanish into the snowy landscape in search of all 11 stamps. Collect them all and earn the highly coveted 11 Cities Trophy — bragging rights included.
And don’t worry: hot chocolate with rum is available along the way. Purely for warmth. Obviously. 🍫🥃
