Nope. It isn't worth it.
In SL, EvoX has become the de-facto standard. Make SLUV skins, and next to nobody will buy them. Not worth the effort.
In OpenSim, the vast majority of skins are ripped from SL. For one, EvoX has become the de-facto standard here as well because people are even more eager to doll up their avatars with the latest and greatest SL stuff here than in SL where it costs real money. Besides, you can't rip from SL what isn't made in SL.
Even those who honestly scratch-make skins, make-up etc. in OpenSim for OpenSim only support EvoX anymore. The last time that meshes came out for the old SLUV standard was 2020.
There are only three kinds of people who make new SLUV avatars: those who move to another grid, and who want to keep their pre-EvoX look because their old pre-EvoX look is distinctive. Those very few who still don't know how to handle mesh (or whose machine is too old and too weak to render mesh) and build a new 100% classic avatar. And those very very very few who avoid stolen SL content like the plague and decide to build a new avatar around a legal, open-source BoM body with "Ruth" or "Roth" in the name.
All there is for the latter, if they also want to avoid the ripped SL BoM skins from 2020, is based on the same skins made in the late 2000s, plus what little SLUV make-up can be found around the Hypergrid that was made after tattoo layers became a thing, and that isn't firmly baked onto skins.
