The PipeDreams rock bagpipe band started back in 2008 in Second Life and quickly rose to be the #1 Bagpipe Rock band on the grid. Synapse is a new sonic installation at NUNA—a collaboration between artists Lorin Tone and Alia Soulstar—based on the idea of a sonic field where viewers curate their own musical experience by interacting with the work. The installation draws attention to granular brain architecture. A synapse is a site of transmission of electrical nerve impulses between neurons. Come to the opening on Sunday, all welcome.

3RD Rock Grid is celebrating the Grand Opening of our newest interactive region 3RG Blues Raceway and simultaneously we're celebrating our 12th Birthday at a wonderful fun filled Birthday Bash! We've scheduled 10 hours of live entertainment starting at 9am grid time and ending at 7pm grid time. In addition, we will have a variety of races scheduled through out the day with the winners being awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons and the winner of the largest race of the day will be awarded a large personalized trophy. All races will be monitored by our fully scripted gates and scoreboards. If you're not into racing come for the entertainment ! Music will be provided by such artists as PipeDreams , The Fabulous Wailers, Kitzie Lane, DJ Michel Farrell, Rosy OGrady, Khiron Ametza, Lucky Chiung, Rhia Bachman, Rondo Catteneo, and DJ Tek Bachman!
