🦋 Butterflies Always Near 🦋

Butterflies have a very special meaning to me.

At 96 years old, my mother was still creating. One of the last things she made for her daughters was a sequined butterfly. She carefully placed every single sequin by hand. She passed away only a few months later, on September 18, 2024.

Those butterflies became something I treasure, and now they have inspired this little creation.

Butterflies Always Near is a butterfly choker created in remembrance of my mother and also in memory of Dolly Parton, whose love of butterflies made this tribute feel especially fitting.

Each choker comes nestled inside a lavender butterfly keepsake box and will be given as a gift at Monentes Jewelry.

A butterfly may only stay for a moment, but somehow its beauty stays with us.
