Through life, there are people and events that take and hold a piece of our soul - sometimes the better, sometimes for the worst. Sometimes the trigger are small, apparently insignificant things.
A piece of mine was taken 9 years ago when I saw the above screenshots in the news. I sobbed for day, as I still do today. I grieved for people I had never met, as I still do today.
PRIDE doesn't hold meaning (or the same meaning) for everyone - and that is okay.
But regardless of where we stand on, of what we believe on - Love and Kindness to our neighbours shall be the Law.
This is, once again, my Starchild wish and Blessing to you all:
'May, when given the choice, you always choose kindness. For you are all Children of the Earth and Starry Heavens, but your race is of Heaven Alone'
Let us remember:
'Let my worship be within the heart that rejoiceth, for behold: all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals; and therefore let there be Beauty and Strength, Power and Compassion, Honour and Humility, Mirth and reverence within you.'
Blessed Pride
In Love & Grief,
Aurora Starchild
