since osw allows only 1 image per post, here is my final post about the Luna Lunaria charities. A very noble cause, and apparently Luna's favorite charity. Giving children a better chance at growing into healthy adults is something I am certain most of us can agree is a very noble and thoughtful, and heartwarming cause.

In a way, we all stood together, and gave what we could, as our way of showing just how much Luna inspired us. I will forever treasure her builds and my numerous wonderful memories and interactions with her, as I am certain we all will. Let this not be a goodbye, but rather, a "see you soon!" in so many ways...when we look at her builds or frequent a party or event set within one of her builds...., each time we are building or working with pbr or any of the many things that remind us of Luna, or simply looking up at the many stars in the night sky, especially in the Orion constellation. Let us be kind to one another, inspire one another, and drive one another to be creative, to inspire, to continue to make our marks of originality on OpenSim that may further differentiate us from other games and platforms! Be well, OpenSim...and keep on shining!

A few hospital visits later, some holiday chaos, some unneccessary waiting around, and everything finally clicked when i searched the ISR website and realized Luna's star coordinates has already been published publicly and any of us can find it on the International Star Registry website by searching Luna Lunaria...yes you, too! Everyone on Earth! So break out those telescopes and make a wish upon Luna's star! WE DID IT, OpenSim! Thank you for all who contributed, or wanted to, had kind words, or fond thoughts of Luna. Her rl son assured me he received the package and would be framing the copy of the paperwork for himself, as well as forwarding the pre-framed copy to Luna's rl partner. Stay tuned for additional posts with info about the additional funds left over and where they went!

Einladung zum Wintersport Training am Freitag 30.Januar 2026.
Auch dieses Jahr öffnet die Hochalp Gletscherbahn wieder einen Tag lang ihre Pforten und läd zum Tag der offenen Türe. Am Freitag ist ab Mittags bis Mitternacht der Zugang für die Öffentlichkeit frei. Es finden Nachmittags Skikurse und Snowboard Kurse alternierend statt. Auch erfolgt eine Einweisung in das eisrodeln. Abends ab 20 Uhr öffnet dann die Skibar und lädt zur Apres Ski Party. Eingeladen sind alle Freunde und freundlich gesonnenen Gäste. Für Gäste gilt: Nur voll bekleidete menschliche Avatare werden eingelassen.

This year, the Hochalp Glacier Lift will once again open its doors for a day of fun and invites you to its open house. On Friday, access is free for the public from noon until midnight. Ski and snowboard lessons will be offered alternately in the afternoon. There will also be an introduction to ice tobogganing. In the evening, starting at 8 p.m., the ski bar will open for an après-ski party. All friends and friendly guests are invited. Please note: Only fully clothed human avatars will be admitted.

so i am working on the Japanese expansion for VivoSim and have changed some information.

Current Gardens & Fields:
(removed and moved plants, more to come.
Imo Hatake (tubers)
Kokumotsu (grains)
Konsai (root vegetables)
Soryo (fodder)
Yasai (vegetable).
Habu (herbs)

I will be changing the growth times, stats (for the HUD) and redoing the containers in Japanese style.
I'm testing them now. I have changed the "gardens" and fields to be more specific.

Trees will take a bit longer since there are more of them, but I also have trees that give wood (and other byproducts) as well as fruits/nuts

It has been a lot of work, but i am very happy with the outcomes.
I am hoping to have most of the gardens done this week.
all in all, i am looking at 118 "new" plants/trees.

I just put up another update. I swear this should be last for a while...so tired...:-)
I added a cache meter up top ...one for mesh...one for texture cache.
I added an empty cache button that EMPTIES the texture cache.
No more tree stumps neccessary!

I also Limited the draw distance on mirrors. Seemed to help CONSIDERABLY with lag when they were on.
