Ages ago, I satirized events in SL like "Best in Bikini" and "Best in Cute" with my “Best In Demo” event. SL Creators used demo tags and took other such measures to prevent people from using a free version as a final, permanent piece. So, imagine your Avatar using a pre-mesh no-mod shape from a shop with demo sized huge hands and feet. You'd be wearing flexihair with demo signs attached. Add on a skin extensively tattooed with “demo,” and wearing clothing with the word demo woven into the texture. You'd have a nightmare of an avatar – and one that might win the “Best In Demo” event. The prize? A demo version of a trophy.

The event was hilarious, and so popular that other clubs copied the idea. You can say my “Best in Demo” event was a demo for Best In Demo events.Then came OS. Sadly, there are no demos here, and so, no Best In Demo events either. But there are other fun event ideas. Consider “Best In Complexity”.
