I am starting work on re-creating Acadia in the 1600's and 1700's. I saw this photo, taken in Grande Anse New Brunswick, where my Grandparents and ancestors were from. It is overlooking the Chaleur Bay and the town of Caraquet along the coast in the distance.

I know EXACTLY where that is. When my passport comes in.. I am driving up there and rolling around in that lavender patch and never going home. :D

I am taking some liberties with actual dates and the timeline.. But my character will be La Mariecomo. A legendary witch that wandered the hills and villages of New Brunswick in the 1800's.. and I suspect she may be a relative. lol
