Mi sono iscritta a Second Life nel 2007, dopo aver appreso dai vari media molte notizie su Linden Lab. Non mi piace il nome di Second Life, ma il suo potenziale come piattaforma da usare.Leggendo un articolo sull'American Journal, mi sono resa conto che Second Life era un'altra cosa, è un luogo da utilizzare per divertimento e per fare affari, altri lo vedono come una speculazione finanziaria, per gli altri è solo una chat in 3D.
Ma ben presto divenne una nicchia per gli amanti della creatività.
Non sono una fotografa professionista in RL, ma mi piace scattare foto quando vedo qualcosa che mi piace, una persona o una situazione, che è per questo che porto sempre una piccola telecamera nella mia borsa. Second Life mi ha permesso di sviluppare, senza bisogno di potenti mezzi la mia emotività, fermo il momento di un sentimento in scatti semplici che si fermano un attimo del mio tempo.
Penso di essere un utente finale di Second Life sfruttando la capacità dei creatori che sanno dare realtà ai corpi degli avatar e che sanno come dare movimento all'avatar con l'uso delle animazioni.
Il mio lavoro fonde questi due aspetti, la cura dell'avatar come corpo umano, e lo studio del linguaggio del corpo.
Spero che le mie fotografie possano essere uno stimolo di ironia, emozioni e sentimenti, e che queste vadano oltre una semplice osservazione della fotografia stessa.
Mi ispiro spesso partendo dal testo di una canzone che colpisce la mia emotività e cerco di trasformarla in un’immagine
Utilizzo al minimo le funzionalità di Adobe Photoshop e filtri come Nik Collection,qualche volta faccio delle fusion con le funzioni di App dello smartphone.
