I've just talked to her. She needs the UUID of your avatar to at least try and add you while you aren't on the grid.

It's a bit more complicated now.
Step 1: Ask Otto or Suzan von Otter for a group invite via PM. If you ask Otto, prepare to wait for a few days, he's busy currently.
Step 2: Get invited onto another sim in Otterland. This is necessary because the Klamotto group only exists in Otterland, so you can't join it outside the grid.
Step 3: Receive the actual invitation to the group.
Also, fair warning ahead: Otterland runs a rather old version of OpenSim that doesn't support BoM. If you have a BoM avatar, some repair will be necessary after your visit.

New one - When I try tp'ing, I automatically receive this response: "Destination region does not support the outfit you are wearing. Please retry with a simpler one." Any simpler and I'd be naked!

yep tried twice tonight from OSGrid and totally grey-screen crashed :( I'm on the latest beta FS for EEP
