We have released WolfVoice to GitHub this morning - this is a complete WebRTC setup for OpenSim, so you can switch off Vivox or add voice to any grid. It includes the server software and full setup instructions.

Not so sure about that, Tonia. The best way to be accepted as you are, is to be yourself. So what if your voice doesn't sound like the average female. Pretty sure there are lots of people, including myself, who would like to talk to you exactly as.. yourself. Wolf has created an incredibly piece of software here that will benefit tons of people. Including you.. if you will let it.

It's a voice server?! It's a piece of software. This is typical OpenSim: you try to do something to help people and just get complaints.

I don't think the point was to complain. This is awesome and lots of people love voice and will be thrilled to have it.
I think if people/grids/communities/regions state and consciously creatre safe space then it can be a space where everyone uses voice who wants to and feels comfortable. That part is up to the folks who use your software and all of us to check ourselves and be open and loving to who people are.
I have so many Transgender women in my life that I don't even blink if a voice "doesn't appear to match" the presentation of the person/avatar. But I also know from supporting folks that that can be the thing that gets someone discriminated against and that can cause hesitation on using things like voice servers.
