Sometimes they go to 0,0,0 on your region when they fly off like that. I've done that so many times and then I go to those coordinates and there's a whole pile of stuff I've misclicked.

good hint! Did not know. But today I found object inside of a wall from a building..... It feels a little silly to search diagonally inside the walls, but that’s where it was hiding. Right in the middle of a wall. :-)
If nobody knows where to find the UNDO function, Ctrl-Z Button would also be an option - mine does not work :-D

ähm... [ctrl]+[z] works? sometimes you have to hop out of a input field, where you probably just typed, but it works for me. even if you close the build-window: i flipped a thing accidentally with ctrl+z, that i have changed the day before!

I thought I made a joke. ctrl-z not working here :-O ok, as long the edit window is open it works.... But not after close it. This was my problem week ago: I moved by mistake or by hiccup of my mouse and object into Nirvana. And wish to have a Undo Button. ;-)

FAA: Good to know that the problem was solved. You may or not have used it, but using area search is good tool for anyone searching someplace for something.
