E Grid has come to the end of the line as far as being a constantly running public grid.
Costs have risen for us hugely for sustaining a grid 24/7, and it's too much for the very small numbers we get of visitors. Many times days go by with one or two on all lands, and its just not sustainable for what we're paying to run it all.
We'll keep Paradise and individual lands up and open, so if you are renting there you're fine, just be aware the grid will NOT be up 24/7 anymore.
We regret having to do this but costs have gone sky high and it's just not feasible anymore. We've had to do this once before but this time, sadly we have to stick with it.
Thank you for ALL of you who visited and enjoyed the grid over the last couple of years or so, it's been fun and we appreciate every one of you :)

It's a shame to read that they're closing a grid, but I understand that it's not sustainable to maintain it without visitors. These kinds of situations make you think that often, we residents are also to blame for a grid becoming stagnant, as we don't connect regularly or daily, and we don't bring in visitors or new residents. They only show up when there's a party, and then it's empty again. There's not even anyone to chat with in the group. I see it in the grid where I am; it's boring and sad :/

Was going to ask if Matrix or Avataria was wanted to be up again, I think we could have done that and not gone over our new limits. But its all good. Will check here occasionally. Have fun all :)

Hi Milly. Give your post some time. People might need time to digest what you are saying. I will miss E-Grid. :c It is a sad day when any grid ends. Whatever your next endeavor is, I am sure it will be a success.
