Through life, there are people and events that take and hold a piece of our soul - sometimes the better, sometimes for the worst. Sometimes the trigger are small, apparently insignificant things.
A piece of mine was taken 9 years ago when I saw the above screenshots in the news. I sobbed for day, as I still do today. I grieved for people I had never met, as I still do today.
PRIDE doesn't hold meaning (or the same meaning) for everyone - and that is okay.
But regardless of where we stand on, of what we believe on - Love and Kindness to our neighbours shall be the Law.

Hello. Can you please tell me what is the current version of the Legacy male body? I have now version 2.0, but when you enter it does not load immediately, you have to wait for some time, and that I take it off through the shirt, so as not to look in the inventory, it does not load immediately, and you have to wait for some more time and periodically poke until it will not load. In other grids I see the body version 1.7.1, but watched his HUD, there is more similar to the original and more convenient to use it than on version 2.0. Steven Siro Vai, geboren am 6. Juni 1960 in Carle Place, Long Island, New York, zeigte bereits in jungen Jahren eine tiefe Verbindung zur Musik. Als eines von fünf Geschwistern in einer typischen, eng verbundenen italienisch-katholischen Familie entdeckte er die Musik schon mit vier Jahren, als er ein Klavier in der Wohnung seiner Tante erkundete. Seine musikalische Reise begann ernsthaft mit sieben Jahren, als er seine erste Band gründete. Ein entscheidender Moment war der Kauf von Frank Zappas Album „Freak Out“, das sein Verständnis von Musik revolutionierte.

I have debated bringing this masterpiece to the library...not that there is anything wrong with it...I think it is one of the greatest love stories of all time. I used to watch the movie at least once per year. But around 2017, my father started showing signs of dementia...vascular dementia, to be exact. Mini strokes that robbed him of more and more, until they took his life in 2020. Took me a few years to even grieve...I suppose because i had been bracing for the inevitable for about 3 years. So around 2023 or so, I finally allowed myself to rewatch the movie for this book (yes, i think it does it justice)...well, the tears finally came pouring out of me, like rain in a Sparks novel/movie. ;)

Anyways, this is an amazing novel, it will likely tug on your heart strings, if it has not already. For those few of you unfamiliar with the book nor the movie, I normally suggest watching movie versions first; I find they help me visualize the book better, I also find that a book can rarely disappoint and be less descriptive than a movie; but sometimes if we read the book 1st, we may be disappointed if the movie leaves something out, or portrays something different than we pictured or understood it. I won't give any spoilers; y'all can ordain what you wish based on what I said thus far. But, anyone who has not read this nor seen the movie...you are Truly missing out on something very special. Enjoy!
