VLTCC Interview Video: SARS-CoV-2 - Delighted that my colleague, Selby Evans aka Thinkerer visited my Kitely-based laboratory training complex and information exchange to learn more about the Virtual Laboratory Training, Career Recruitment and Retention (VLTC) Project. It is quite exciting to experience my first voice interview within the newly-built SARS-CoV-2 Unit of the Virtual Laboratory Training and Career Center (VLTCC). While it is one of eighteen (18) featured parcels within the VLTCC, the SARS-CoV-2 Unit was built to highlight laboratory information and resources pertaining to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) which is caused by SARS-CoV-2. Here, I am discussing the SARS-CoV-2 virion that I built as a scientific exhibition. It is my hope that the VLTC Project will introduce to some and serve as an inspiration to others, the amazing communities of 3D immersive virtual worlds; medical laboratory science; and public health. The bi-directional integration of 3D immersive virtual worlds and social media in medical laboratory science and public health is the focus of the VLTC Project. I am truly looking forward to sharing more about the VLTC Project with fellow medical laboratory professionals, infectious disease specialists, and educators as well as interested individuals throughout the Opening of the VLTCC and my 45th Lab Anniversary Celebration. What an awesome way to be celebrating 45 years as an ASCP-certified Medical Technologist within the 3D virtual-based environment that was inspired by my vision, "Real to Virtual; Virtual to Real in Laboratory Science"!
