Wow the Art Factory is coming up to 3 months old! and what a busy 3 months it has been. For those that have been with us since the beginning you will know we migrated to a brand spanking 2x2 region as we had outgrown our old one. The new set-up gives us not only more space and capacity it should hopefully be lower lag. Danger Lytton as worked hard to keep use up running and with regular maintenance restarts all seem to be going smoothly.
The additional space has allowed us to add some navigable water and a few islands, if you've not been already do take a trip over the the Paul Gauguin island based on his last resting place in French Polynesia.
We've also added a number of new attractions including:
In order to make transit around the community, the department of works have now installed a ring-tram around the Paris region and there is also Metro transit between Paris, New York and Gaslight, do take a ride! We also have a Landmark Giver and TP signs if you prefer the more traditional style of virtual travel.
Within the Artist community we welcome a number of new Artists:
Our residents have been busy! Nice Mink won first Prize at the Photo competition with a wonderful photograph based on the emotion of happiness. Antonia's mugshot series is now finished and she has started some fun work custom painting cars! Ernest also won the Quick Build contest with a tongue in cheek in-the-news piece which is still on display at LBSA if you want to take a look.
Events have been a little quiet at the start of the year as we all recover from the Holiday Period. but that quiet period was broken last weekend as we celebrated Ellen's eleventy first birthday! Thank you to all that came and made it such a wonderful party!
Many thanks to Antonia who has been wonderful in promoting the region on Facebook and securing us advertising space on other regions. I'm happy to say we are at #40 traffic ranking on OSW which is great for a region which isn't just shops or a big event location. Can I encourage all residents to promote the region as much as possible, some ideas:
Until next time keep being creative and keep having fun!
