DNS, or Domain Name System, is the internet's phonebook, translating human-readable domain names (like google.com) into machine-readable IP addresses (like 172.217.160.142). This allows users to access websites and other online resources using easy-to-remember names instead of complex IP addresses.
For anybody struggling for domain names or server URL's, there are a couple of services I often use, One is NoIP https://www.noip.com/ although sub-domaining on there has limited domain options, a service that has many domain options is Afraid DNS, https://freedns.afraid.org/ both of these services are free to use, with NoIP also having a paid tier, I hope this information might help some of you

I use https://freedns.afraid.org for its thousands of domains to get a sub-domain on :)
But be carfull not missing their emails for inactivity, even if your sub domain is used daily it seems you have to log on their site from time to time. If you miss it your account will go "sleeping" but it is easy to go back there and re activate it :) ( I had to do it yesterday )
There is also https://www.azote.org/ (french) that just seems to be the same but I don't use it personally.
