How Much Do You Spend In and/or On OS?
It's oft said that, in OS, everything should be free, or words to that effect. But be honest. How "free" is this free. What costs, directly or indirectly, do you incur in or on OS? For example:
Hosting a grid.
Region rental.
Stream rental.
Kitely purchases.
Gold coins.
OS is more free, in many ways, than SL. But it is not necessarily totally free. What do you figure you spend in and on OS?

In my case specifically +200$/month for my tiny grid. I do spend A LOT in other virtual worlds to bring stuff here tho

Well, I only bring the stuff, not the creator, so... I don't twist my nickers over that. But yes, even that takes money + insane amount of time. Now, people who do that to actual, original, OS creators like @lunalunaria and many talented others...yeah no, I'd be VERY vocal about that

By creators, I mean the importers that have to do the work to make the items workable. They create them, so to speak, to work in OS. For example, I understand that uploading hair correctly can be hard, and then all of the scripting that needs to be done for hair and color/style change HUDs.

You can really spend zero if you want. Most main world offer some sort of parcel rental, which tend to be quite generous! (I am sure @nbtafelberg can comment on that as the grid with most traffic)

In my time in OS, I've been given free and full use of about 30 regions, ranging from 2 to 20 at a time. But it's sometimes easier to be customer than a guest. Now I rent a large region with lots of prim at very little cost. I'll be renting a music stream eventually. But everything else is free. (Oh, except OSW gold coins) :)
