I'm excited to share that Weathered Woods is now open, featuring handcrafted driftwood, twig, root, and natural wood furniture.

This shop was made possible through the generous support and encouragement of Fred Beckhusen. His guidance, knowledge, and continued development of the software and tools I use have opened the door to creating things I never imagined possible.

Many of the pieces you'll see in Weathered Woods are the result of that collaboration between creativity and technology. Without Fred's dedication and willingness to share his expertise, this project simply would not exist.

Created a SummerGown with texture changing to various Hibiscus prints. This is my first real rigged mesh that I created solely, I am wearing Athena Avatar and the Body HUD works with it to alpha the parts. I included the Shape I used in Avastar to get a good fit. It is in the Waves of Courage surf shop for those who want to try it. The shape is in Contents of the Dress.

I created a static pose for pictures. Holding surfboard behind back. I included a posing surfboard too for anyone who would like one (no scripts yet for surfing) I left it on the beach at Catena di Isole. My wave and board is still progressing nicely but thought to take a break to make a nice image pose. If you go to the beach where the wave is, you will see the anim and surfboard boxed up. I moved the surf shop across the bay to the little island where the waves begin. This morning I stocked the shop with Men's swim trunks, bikinis, sunglasses, sun dresses and hoodies. Surfboards are display only. Mine is progressing but will be awhile working the anims out. If and when that time comes I will give my board freely.

Rolling Thunder Lanes Just Got an Upgrade!

Big thanks to Ferd Frederix for the latest updates to the lanes!

Touch-to-Rez Bowling Balls – Simply tap the terminal in front of the balls to rez a new ball directly on the lane.
Touch-to-Roll – Just touch the ball and let it fly!
Clean & Reset Pins – Use the terminal near the keypad (on the side closest to the lane) to have the rake clear the pins and set up for the next frame.
Live Score Announcements – Scores now show directly in local chat for everyone to follow along!

Thunder Lanes located on the Catena di Isole sim behind the Freebie mall!

I created a surf shop today at Catena di Isole. I moved the sand writings to here and also the surf pose. I will be adding beach stuff here as I can. The Waves of Courage was the first surf comp in Opensim, so thought that would be a perfect name for my shop. I have been making progress on the surfboard with many edits and fine tuning, I am happy to have gotten this far, I really appeciate the coders now. Swing by say hi anytime!

I added a shop to the Catena di Isole Freebie Mall "Classic Closet". I have decided to wear the default-system-classic avatar and in doing so I decided to create clothes to wear and give what I create freely. I will also give out Fate Mesh clothing that I have textured with a texture-changing script giving you multiple choices. The clothing fits Classic Avatar wearing Alphas old school but I am diggin' it! Thank you Jamie Anna Wright for the inspiration. I have established the VHG "Weekenders" Travel office at the Catena di isole sim. Stop in to learn about all the VHG destinations. While there pick up a Backpack filled with everything you need for an enjoyable weekend. Sandals, Shades, Sunscreen, Fishing pole, Map In the near future we will have cottages that you can rent free for the weekend. It is a fun way to R & R away from your own grid for the weekend. We will be adding the cottages soon.

When you are at Catena di Isole checking out bowling, swing by the Coastal Sunrise Cafe. Check out what the tide washed in on the beach, neat little treasures found in the seashells, when the tide comes in the treasures do too.

I was asked to add more clothing for my Rigged Mesh Avatar "Camille" . I have added two new skirts "Midnight Lace" and a top that matches both skirts. This is a pretty black/magenta floral set. I will be adding more clothing for the Rigged Mesh avatars. If you are wearing one of the avatars and would like more clothing, please let me know which Rigged av it is you need clothing for, I will create as time allows.
