I'm a strong independent woman. Some would say I'm a bitch but I really don't give a crap what they think they are irrelevant in my life. I have no time for BS so save it, I don't need your platitudes, don't want your flattery, and for God's sake don't try to save me from my low self esteem because it just doesn't exist. Oh, and one more thing, don't mistake my benevolence for weakness or stupidity - I can pick a "player" out in less than 5 seconds of conversation.

Wild life, friends, music and anything to do with "Space" and the universe. Intelligent conversation is an important thing for me as is logic. Loyalty is also important to me as is honesty.

A friend visited the Haven of Memories and in our discussion she said she missed her fur baby. I immediately thought it would be a good thing to offer a place for folks to remember their fur babies that have crossed the rainbow bridge. So Haven of Memories now has a "Pet Memorial Section" to pay tribute to our beloved furry, feathered and even scaled babies. Well things are pretty much back to normal at the Haven and it's open to anybody who would like to visit there. The new Peace Enclave Museum located at my Safari Wildlife Reserve. This museum is dedicated to continuing awareness of our responsibilities to our animal friends that we share this planet with. While there must be a balance for healthy wildlife, to quote Mr. Spock "To hunt a creature to extinction is illogical", we must not allow continued poaching of these beautiful animals. It is my hope you will visit the museum and I will be adding to it and to the reserve as time goes on. This has become a very interesting project for me to dive into. Be Blessed, ~~Lavia~~

The most recent addition to Stag Hollow, the Saw Mill. This is the interior of a mid 19th century water powered saw mill with a large circular blade. We are trying to keep things in this region as close to the era and history as possible to give it a more authentic feeling.
We have 1st and 2nd floor shared shop spaces available in our mall region that are rent free, we also have private shop space rentals with room to expand. All Shops include a touch TP back to the owner's grid and region to their main shop.

Well they did it again, the left me unattended with building tools in my reach and so this is what happened, my 2nd attempt at a tree, this one is a lemon tree. It's cute, it's full perm, free and waiting for you in Lavia's Little Corner of the Star Jinn Palisade Mall in the Masala Al Kohav region of my grid. If I have a region listed "no fly" it is for a reason, mostly because if you fly in those regions you will miss the beauty of the hard work that was done to make it worth visiting in the first place. I know everybody likes to get around fast and if a region owner makes their land that you can fly over it that's all well and good, but if they have it set to no fly, why not respect that. I watched someone arrive, wait a moment, then they were flying which meant they had to use the command to allow them to override my settings and that, no matter how you cut it, is disrespectful and rude. So from now on, if I am on and I catch you flying in my no fly regions you will be banned, not because you flew but because you disrespected my settings and overrode them. I really don't mean to be a b**ch about things but this kind of blatant disrespect really gives me the red a**. Further when I spoke to this person they just hovered above me for a while then left without answering, again, very rude and disrespectful. Truth is, if you ask me nicely I would probably let you fly, and I also have teleporters out for fast travel through the region. Just don't use the command to override the settings I have. Thank you. Our beautiful Star Jinn Palisade Mall! It's not got as much as we'd like, but very nearly all of what you see on display are our original builds created with the open sim community in mind. Come and visit and explore a mall with a unique touch and design - all outdoor except the specialty shops. Our featured shops are GramZ's Country Creations, Star Ravenhurst Designs (She has a specialty shop and large section of buildings that are a must see), Fall's For You specialty shop of unique avatars, youth avatars and clothing, cleaned up and presented by our own Dusty Falls. Buildings that are "Thor" built and much more. It's best to explore the entire mall (region) rather than just stand at the welcome point and cam. A friend asked me if I had a tree bench, you know the kind that circles a tree so you can relax in the shade? Well no I didn't have one so I built one, complete with sits enough for 8 people. We are back up and open for visitors, though there is still a LOT of work to do, for now the museum is completed and even has a short video you can watch about the endangered Forest Elephant of Africa. There are some animals, not as many as before but they will be restored over the next few days. There is a lot of landscaping done but much more to do to make it a beautiful trip for visitors. Today the King's Royal Court chamber was completed and the more I do with this region the more drawn I am to King David as to me, he was the most awesome earthly King that ever lived. If anybody got this from our mall, please know that I did find an error in the build in that I'd missed removing some prim parts either because I didn't see them or they managed to "ghost" their way back in as sometimes happens, and were accidentally linked to the build. Either way, I removed the invading prims so that the mesh part is what remains reducing the land impact by almost 200. So if you got this house, I have the revised, corrected version available at the mall or just contact me and I'll send it to you. Blessings and much love, Lavia
Well with the way Open Sim has been acting the last few days I kind of felt like going on the war path, so to reduce my stress I built these working Native Drums. You can add a pose ball and have your avatar play the drum or you can just touch and listen to an authentic Shaman chant with drum and flute in one drum and just drum in the other. They are touch activated and touch deactivated and they are depicted as made of Walnut or maple wood, buck skin, buffalo horns and feathers. These will make a great decoration or a great addition to any "wild west" setting. They are full perm and free and you can find them at the mall in "Lavia's Little Corner". This build is not originally my own, I've taken something that someone else built and made many changes such as added actual windows and working doors and a TP to the "attic" or "secret room" none of which worked before. By adding actual windows you can now put the curtains of your choice in as well as furniture.
I have more, or less, modernized a beautiful old building to restore it's original glory so to speak, but with my own twist as the windows and the walls they are in are my mesh build, the stairwell has been improved and made of mesh instead of a spiral, skewed, tube prim. I have added 3 way touch lights in different areas and repaired the doors so they all work and I have totally retextured the build with a richer more affluent looking texture.
I think you will find this build to be elegant and functional at the same time.

For this build I started with a wall I had made for a House I was working on, then I wondered how it would look as an outdoor thing and viola! The Wistful Shelter came to life. Decorated with wisteria and a few other plants, it is polished brass with a beautiful mosaic floor sure to please anybody. It's free, it's full perm, and it's waiting to beautify your region in a garden, on a beach, or just as a yard decoration. I have my greedy game inside it. Our newest addition to the Star Jinn Palisade is my mixed prim and mesh Victorian Home. It features a wrap around porch, full basement, beautiful kitchen space with spindle shelves and a small breakfast counter and an arched doorway that leads to the dining space as well as a very open living room. Spiral stairs accent the small towered portion that is adorned with stained glass windows. Upstairs there is a Master bedroom with doors to a 2nd floor balcony, and there is a 2nd bedroom and bathroom. Walnut flooring and Victorian era wallpaper. And the Lattice work is 3D mesh; It's a little prim heavy but for the detail and beauty it can give to your sim, it's worth it. Blessings and much love, Lavia

We had an awesome visit from the HG Safari group on Wednesday, September 20th and it went beautifully. Though we didn't get to share everything in the region, that leaves room to return and see the rest of this beautiful and amazing region. The animals had a blast, or so they said, seeing all of those humans in their natural surroundings and a few even looked pretty tasty to them. We all hope to see you again in return visits to see and learn more about conserving and preserving our beautiful world full of incredibly amazing wildlife.
