This is just one of the many beautiful sights to see at the Wildlife Preserve called Peaceful Enclave located on the Lioness Den region of our grid. Glow worms are such a beautiful sight to see in their dark caves and this little cave is no exception to that rule. Stop in and tour the region, enjoy the animals and the landscape, there is just so much to see and you can tour on foot, on a horse or use one of our many vehicles available. This sweet lady was Jackie, Softwhisper Littlewing who was a DJ I got to know in Second Life and she was amazing and so much fun. We lost Jackie in 2020 to cancer and she will be forever missed and loved. I designed this memorial to her as a DJ she so loved music and dance.

In light of all the complaining about "copybotting" we have decided to give a "Builder's School" a shot, but this is strictly for beginners. If you are a seasoned builder it's not for you, however, if you'd like to share tips and building ideas to help other's become awesome builders it would be most welcome. If we get enough interest, we will set out a region and beacon and set up a day of the week when we can help teach building all manner of things from homes to hats and more. If you are interested in learning to build and give your grid original and unique content, these classes may just be for you. We will be teaching not only prim building, but how to turn that into mesh and also terraforming and landscaping as well as texture aligning and including many tips that make building in Open Sim a really "FUN" experience. I just finished this build and while it was intended to be a sort of a temple it ended up being something that can be used for anything. It could be an archive, a library, a temple, a synagogue, a church, a shop, a warehouse, the possibilities are endless. I got so excited about the solid color spider mums that I couldn't resist and created tipped spider mums and they turned out quite nice I think. There are 4 different colors, red, lilac, pink and gold and they are full perm and free at the Create a Scene Garden Center here at the mall. They're right in front of the greenhouse. Here in the town of Stag Hollow, we have plenty of free homes for those who choose to live here. There are Hotels, Motels, a Saloon, Shops (that need business owners), A railroad (soon fully operational), hot air balloon rides, boating on the lake, swimming in the lake, Farms, Ranches, Native American Settlements, Little Houses on the Prairie and badlands that are gorgeous, waterfalls, rivers and plenty of trails to ride horses on. But, it's all mid 19th century aka the 1800's so no cars, no busses, no factories, just good, clean, fun living. Take a chance, step back in time, and enjoy a life where you can do things with your own hands and nobody has electronics. One of my older builds from the former grid though I've made some adjustments and added a couple things and now it's ready for you to give it a home in your beautiful region. This fine church comes with a few decorations, working doors and pews with sits. It is C/M/T though some of the mesh parts may not be agreeable to retexture. It's not ready to be visited yet but we have a new region being prepared. This region is a Memorial region open to all who may wish to hold memorial services or to place a remembrance of a loved one. Haven of Memories will open soon on grid.genesis-roleplay.org and it promises to be soothing and beautiful. You can come and just sit and remember the good times if that's all you want to do, the gardens will be open to all. COMING SOON!

One of my mother's favorite flowering bushes was the Forsythia with it's bright gold flowers and lime green leaves she often cut a few branches and put them in a vase of water on the dining room table, it was simple but very pretty. So I decided to make a Forsythia bush and make it available to all who would like one, it could make great hedges or privacy walls, it's mesh and resizable and only one prim. PS I upgraded the bush to be totally 3D which is more prims but well worth it for how pretty it looks, it's now 10 prims instead of 1 but the first one looked cheep this one actually looks real.

Howdy folks!!! One of our new grid members wanted a house that was very open, so with that thought in mind I created this house for her, however I'm making it available to anyone who would like it. This house features a built in fireplace, split levels, spiral stairs, decks, recessed ceiling lights (touch light), sliding doors and a carport. The build is pretty much all prim so it will be easy to modify and the mesh parts can be resized and re textured to your liking. It is full perm and free here at our mall, stop by and check it out. I'm reposting these two trees, a Wichita Juniper with berries and a Douglas Fir because after fighting with blender all night I managed to get them from 10 prims down to 3, (May be much higher in ubODE regions). The original load, I guess was too much so I had to break it down into parts and re do it about 3 time before it finally loaded like it should but by golly they're here, they're beautiful, they are nice and full, and they are full perm and free, waiting for you so they can help make your region(s) gorgeous. ANNOUNCING our newest department at the mall - "Heating & Cooling" and we'll have some cool stuff and hot deals for you!!! These two fireplaces are two of my original builds, but only two. There will be others and yes we'll have a few "imported" fireplaces and other items, but I will do my best to build many more items than are imported. What I have been doing is taking the houses I've built that have "heating" units and unlinking the units from the homes then placing them independently in the Heating & Cooling department. Something New in our Livingroom & Bedroom department at the mall. The Rose Nightstand is a beautiful little Nightstand or End Table of Oak wood and it has beautifully carved drawer fronts for that added panache to your décor. The drawers are scripted so they can be opened and have auto close. Toss a giver script in the drawers and store some of your favorite things in them. Blessings and much love, Lavia

At Masala Al Kohav Mall something small but very useful, a wall and window set. One wall has the window already installed and is mesh, the single window is Mesh but the wall is simple prim The texture is rustic and can be modified to whatever texture you like and so can the window. Let me tell you about the Genesis Roleplay Grid - This grid was originally started by my daughter, Metal Tango, while I was on another grid with a group of friends. Things went south on that grid for reasons that I do not need to explain so my daughter extended a welcome to my friends to join us on Genesis Roleplay Grid with the understanding that each could have a 1 - 4x4 region with no rent to pay but donations if they could afford it. Everyone has worked very hard to develop this grid and make it a success and build up a good reputation in the virtual community. Seventy five percent of our membership on the grid are Role players and we have fun when we get together, 95% of the regions are developed either for role play or personal use with a scattered few for other reasons because people like to build their dream region. It is a well organized, well run grid with an amazing tech whom we adore and those who were there with us from the ground floor up, working, striving and struggling to make it a success have donated financially as well, particularly Metal Tango. We have an amazing mall with incredible builds and most of the regions on the grid are regions that I personally have developed, some with a little help from other members. If you see a region under my profile, rest assured I built and developed it. But....no bragging, because I have been to other grids and some of them are positively amazingly gorgeous and well done and our Virtual Community is about encouraging one another and working together and supporting each other in our endeavors. Genesis Roleplay Grid isn't about me, it's about every single person on that grid for they are all precious and very talented in their own right, whether creative writing, building, decorating, organizing, everyone has a role to play in making the grid a success. Sometimes I just can't help myself and I go a little crazier than I normally am, and I do another build. This one is a modern office setting with two large offices, waiting area, reception area, small bathroom and elevator on the first level and a beautiful conference area complete with a warm fireplace and a wall waterfall and both levels are wall to wall carpeting. It is a modern stone, steel, brass and glass build with burgundy and gold marble walls on the interior and maple paneling. My build from the weekend, it's called Kippah Romantica which translated means, Dome of Romance. The first level has a swimming pool with plenty of room for poolside tables and chairs and maybe a bar. Second floor has plenty of room for a dance area. Some folks wonder why I don't decorate the builds more, well....I think people like to decorate their own to their own tastes and they can take great personal pride in that. This memorial is a pet memorial and it's for my daughter's (Metal Tango's) dog whom we lost in July of 2023, he crossed the rainbow bridge of all days on the 4th gaining his independence to run free with his sister Blitz and several other fur babies that have crossed over before him. He is quite sadly missed, but he had a good and exciting life with travel all over the country and plenty of love from Gamma! He was Gamma's boy for sure.

If I have a region listed "no fly" it is for a reason, mostly because if you fly in those regions you will miss the beauty of the hard work that was done to make it worth visiting in the first place. I know everybody likes to get around fast and if a region owner makes their land that you can fly over it that's all well and good, but if they have it set to no fly, why not respect that. I watched someone arrive, wait a moment, then they were flying which meant they had to use the command to allow them to override my settings and that, no matter how you cut it, is disrespectful and rude. So from now on, if I am on and I catch you flying in my no fly regions you will be banned, not because you flew but because you disrespected my settings and overrode them. I really don't mean to be a b**ch about things but this kind of blatant disrespect really gives me the red a**. Further when I spoke to this person they just hovered above me for a while then left without answering, again, very rude and disrespectful. Truth is, if you ask me nicely I would probably let you fly, and I also have teleporters out for fast travel through the region. Just don't use the command to override the settings I have. Thank you.
