This is the first village in our project that is nearly completed, representing my Mi'kmaq ancestors of Canada and Maine. It features examples of wiguom (wigwam/house) and a delightful AI helper, an elderly Mi'kmaq woman named Little Bird. Just get close to her and say "Hi Little Bird" and she will stop and talk to you. She loves singing songs and telling stories, but you can also engage her in quite meaningful conversations.
Wesgewi'na is our very large continent / cluster of regions that will represent many pre-contact indigenous cultures in northeast US and Canada. The word Wesgewina'q means "A happy, joyful place" in the Mi'kmaq language.
