Interesting microblogging social network. But I'm even more interested in how decentralized it is. I've used many different similar platforms that positioned themselves as decentralized, but in reality it was just an attractive slogan, and there was censorship and no freedom of speech and expression.

Bluesky is an all-out clone of Twitter from 10 years ago, founded by former Twitter devs and running on venture capital.

It isn't decentralised. 99.999% of the ATmosphere are bsky.social, and what's left relies on bsky.social, too. It just claims to be decentralised to appease the EU, and probably also because the creators thought "decentralised" may become the new hot shit in the wake of Mastodon's success. You know, "decentralised" is the new "AI" is the new "metaverse" is the new "blockchain" is the new "cloud" is the new...

Well, Mastadon and Pleroma are decentralized, and you can also deploy your own instances of these microblogging services.

I know, I've joined the Fediverse long, long before these two were made.

Have a look at the Fediverse and things like Mastodon, Friendica, Diaspora ... All are *really* decentralized. Which does not mean there is no moderation.

Yes, I agree. I am quite familiar with them as I am the owner of a server on which services of such instances as Mastadon, Pleroma, Peertube, Pixelfed are installed.

Hear, hear. I've been on Hubzilla since long before the big Twitter migrations, I've even got a few channels on (streams) going. And I've got connections all over the Fediverse which goes to show that it's all pretty much connected with one another.

My main channel on Hubzilla (that also posts a lot about the Fediverse): https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/channel/jupiter_rowland
My rather slow image outlet channel on (streams): https://streams.elsmussols.net/channel/jupiter_rowland
Juno's channel on Hubzilla: https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/channel/jupiter_rowland

Other OpenSim users who are actually at least somewhat active in the Fediverse include Mal Burns, Thirza Ember, Cheryl Furse, Lone Wolf and a slowly increasing number of Francophone users.

diaspora* is an exception. It still refuses to adopt any other protocol than its own, so within the Fediverse, only Friendica, Hubzilla and Socialhome connect to it. Also, it's withering away rather quickly. Around December 29th, multiple major pods shut down, and according to one stats site, diaspora* lost over half of its users within three days. On Saturday, diasp.org, one of the biggest pods, will be closed.

It is probably true that in Holland, in sunny weather, hemp cakes are handed out on the streets of the city, and in rainy weather you can get two cakes. ))))

the material is applied incorrectly, the tiara is asymmetrical, this is not allowed in jewelry of this type, there is no roughness on the metal and the textures have incorrect coordinates, I believe there is no UV scan, it looks more like a detail from a Gothic fence than a tiara. I doubt it will look attractive on someone's head. This is a regular bling fong nothing more. At least look at what the correct pbr materials look like before.

Marianna has been making jewelry for a very long time. She is a talented, artistic, and caring person. If you can do better, than lets all see it.

Yes, I would love to see it too. I have made my jewelry full perms so people can modify to make it better. What is curious is Alex spoke to me at my store, would think he would have told me this then.

It fits perfectly on my head, I didn't create UV Maps intentionally this is a simple bent curve. This is PBR you have to have PBR enabled Grid using PBR Firestorm. The roughness setting is set to 0.005 to give it a shiny metal. Did you look at it at a PBR enabled grid using PBR Firestorm if not that is why you are seeing the textures as you do. Please look at the image I just loaded here those are my settings. It is a circlet which differs from a tiara, they sit differently on the head, the circlet rests just above the brow on forehead, the tiara more ontop of head

you need to study the reflective properties of materials and the physically basic rendering of materials in more detail. And take the settings for your materials not from your head but from a special table on yphysics called physically correct reflection of metals and materials it was created for designers and from this table you take the data for your material
And since you do this, you will soon fill the open space with low-quality goods with incorrect data. I will not wear low-quality goods.

I got the settings from FS website, https://www.firestormviewer.org/?s=pbr and this, https://modemworld.me/2023/11/28/a-simple-introduction-to-... using those guidelines works best using their viewer. The settings were not taken from my head. I research that is why you left with four material packs of four metals I created. I appreciate that you stopped by, my low quality jewelry has been making people happy for years. It is a process of learning that takes time. If you came to find fault in my work you will likely find it, I make lots of mistakes but I keep creating out of love for creating.

It would be great if you continued creating for the love of creativity. I have nothing against your creativity, create, create, give people joy. Just add a little standardization to your work and display your products in the store more presentably in accordance with the style that I believe you have. But so far I do not see the style. All these boxes that are there need a more beautiful design to show the importance of the product. Also, in your profile, a close-up says that you are a master of Photoshop. So use your knowledge of Photoshop and make a more attractive modern presentation of your product. After all, you sell jewelry, not buns. I think there is no point in traveling to your regions, since I will see the same unattractive picture there. This is just criticism, which I hope will help you in your development. Nothing personal.

Do you go into real stores and shit all over their products and displays? Coming on to someone's post with a nonstop barrage of attack is neither constructive nor kind. This is just criticism, which I hope will help you in your development. Nothing personal.

I agree with that totally, I am always multi tasking and promoting everyone else that I allowed my store to slide into the abyss. One goal I had for the New Year was to spruce it up somehow. It could be much more elegant I agree. More time more work and trying to take care of things is beginning to show :)
