Can I bring wine and cheese?
You can't get in without wine, cheese and vodka x

moi je veux bien le fromage .. je laisse le vin ...

Yes, but only if it is copybotted from SL. :)

Some of us in Opensim have not had these discussions yet and maybe want to know people's thoughts.

Just like the failure to debate abortion, gun control and if a hot dog is a sandwich often enough in the general internet. :)

Pffft a hot dog is not a sandwich! And pineapple belongs on pizza so there.

For every hater, be kinder. For every liar, tell another truth. Confront closed minds with open ones. Most of all don't feed the haters with hate, then you become one of them and only because they made you that way. Love always, to all and unconditionally. Drawing a line for who deserves and does not deserve is their game. Some other hater made them how they are.

Oh the first two options dont fit that?

No, they don't. Not everything comes from SL, I know lots of people build to share with all for free. I myself have built and shared. It's meant to be shared for everyone.

Both items and grids are included. This poll does not include the social aspect.
It wasn't that I thought your poll was invalid :) More that if it's not in a social environment all the choices are diminished to me
like(0)
Oh that's ok I'm happy to see your answer, I was just clarifying what the focus of the poll is. :) Getting my head around the economy/no economy debate that seems to come up so often.

IMHO all non-hate things are ok, we make the world! The subject of money will always be used for conflict I suppose. "I've a good mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it" -- Groucho Marx :)

Anarchy does not mean a lack of rules.
And much of the Opensim metaverse seems to operate along anarchist lines, each community or standalone, or even individual region making their own rules. Sadly, for the ignorant anarchy will always mean lawlessness and disorder. Most will be familiar with the anarchist symbol of a letter A in a circle = Anarchy is Order. Also, anarchists tend to disagree with one another a lot... So the Opensim metaverse is well anarchist in that aspect!

The main issue was items not being delivered for me anyway on two separate grids
like(0)
You can check the list of all grids you’ve authorized to use the account on the Gloebit website, by clicking on your name and selecting “Manage Access” in the drop-down menu. Make sure that those grids are authorized and showing. When transactions fail latency can also cause it. Make sure when you are buying the item you allow plenty of time for the transaction to complete. It also could be the grids you are buying from have issues on their end. It is all working okay on my grid, and the grids that I have authorized payment all seem to be working too.

Its all working now so something has been fixed. I was not the only one who had this issue. Thank you for your advice :)

You know not everyone in OS can work or are retired. Virtual worlds can give them a way to make a little extra pocket money. No one expects to make a fortune or use it as steady source of income. Encouraging people to make original content for which they have every right to ask for re-imbursement is not wrong to do. What is wrong is wanting everything for free, that's greed. Expecting others to use their time money and resources for your benefit without any re-imbursement in some form is slavery. If you don't want to pay for a product, then don't do so but do not stop others from wanting to use this platform as a way to make a little extra cash.

A worker is worth their wages! As long as they are delivering on what the work requires. I personally feel we as a community should do more to support those who work hard for nothing for Os etc. I myself am guilty of not doing so enough though I find it confusing as to whom and to where to give. I would be happy to support through something like a Patreon type thing were a monthly fee could be taken out without me having to remember.

I don't like people asking for money, and you are doing it. START MAKING OFFERS AND CONTRIBUTING FINANCIALLY TO THE WORK OF UBIT AND FRED THEN, AND START PAYING FOR CONTENT IN OPENSIMULATOR AS YOU REASON, DON'T JUST ASK FOR MONEY FOR YOUR IMA PROJECTS. What you are asking for is absurd, I will not accept any more comments from those shamelessly asking for money without considering other solutions that are accessible to everyone. The initiatives here are carried out by volunteers; go work in LL if you want to earn money, respect all users.

IM not asking for any money!! You also need to re-read my comment as to where I specifically state I am happy to support OS projects. I also often do pay for content in OS and ON Kitley. If someone offers a good product here then we should encourage them.
