I am adding scripts to the furniture that will allow you to store your items like clothing, shoes, jewelry and just about anything you want for your role play enjoyment, but you don't have to use this furniture for immersive RP you can use it as a secondary storage for your favorite outfits and other things you need quick access to without searching forever in your inventory for them. This beautiful Pillar House was specially built for a dear friend's region to accommodate a people in her RP story. I am also making it available to others in Open Sim who would like it for their own regions. It features 3 levels, the first level being open for comfy outdoor activities like picnic or just lounging, the 2nd level is nice for living and cooking space and the top floor is for sleeping and bathing. It has a wrap around porch and is constructed of granite in various colors, polished brass and beautiful dark wengwood. Constructed to last many years, theoretically, of course. It can be found in the "Ancient Builds" department at the mall. It is full perm and free and waiting just for you! Blessings and much love, Lavia.

I build this for a friend, a tree hut with a deck and a log bridge in between. It is not yet available at the mall but will be soon enough. It is small though the tree is big and the deck is a good size for dances and such. Access from the ground is via a teleporter. Another sleepless night produced this beautiful pyramid with a reflecting pool and Sphynx (which isn't my build but it worked perfectly). Inside there is a huge room and a kind of a mini palace compete with statues, floor lamp torches, pillars and thrones. It turned out better than I had hoped it would and I hope you will enjoy it and use it for your "ancient" or "Egyptian" build. It comes complete with trees and statues and is the perfect addition or center piece for any ancient or even sci fi fantasy build. You can find it here at the mall in our "Ancient Builds" department. We are at 14 and growing for the "Friends of The Genesis Roleplay Grid" wall. If you are not aware of it, to be on the Friends of the GRPG wall, all you have to do, is contact me, Lavia Lavine, either here in message or in world and let me know you want to have your region or grid represented in the wall. This will get you a walk through portal from our grid to yours and it will bear your logo and landmark, and that's really all there is to it. Some have asked me why I do this, well it's because with all the hatred, negativity and ridiculous competition in open sim, I felt it would be good to do something positive, just as I've seen other's do from time to time. It's not a "new" idea but it is sure a good one to get regions and grids networking with each other and growing a larger community. It's truly amazing to see the wonderful, beautiful creations that people have come up with for their grids and it's great fun to share it by networking. One of my very favorite flowers is the Gladiolus, and I haven't really seen any anywhere in Open Sim so, I got busy and did my best to reproduce my beloved flowers here in virtual so I can share them with everybody else. These flowers always make me smile they are so regal and beautiful. You can find them at the Star Jinn Palisade Mall in our Masala Al Kohav region at the "Create A Scene Garden Center". Another of my attempts to build something fully in Blender, a ceramic water pitcher and wash basin, perfect for potting flowers and arrangements and also great for old west role play. This is just one of the many beautiful sights to see at the Wildlife Preserve called Peaceful Enclave located on the Lioness Den region of our grid. Glow worms are such a beautiful sight to see in their dark caves and this little cave is no exception to that rule. Stop in and tour the region, enjoy the animals and the landscape, there is just so much to see and you can tour on foot, on a horse or use one of our many vehicles available. We had an absolutely AWESOME grand opening thanks to all of our friends who turned out and celebrated with us!! Thanks to Unadecal Masala of Masala Estates for a smoothly operating grid and server, Metal Tango of the Plymouth RP Group for totally awesome rock'n tunes, and Star Ravenhurst for building such an awesome region for us all to enjoy. We hope to see all of our friends and bring your friends as well to enjoy this beautifully done region. Also this region will be the second feature this coming Wednesday, April 12th, on the HG Safari Tour - so pop in to HG Safari and join in on the fun of exploring regions all over open sim!! One of the very first memorials I ever built was to Harriet, Spoiled Diva Riches. She was working on the grid I was on at the time building Helheim as "Hela" and having a ball. The last time we spoke was December 7th, 2019. She is greatly missed and still much loved.

It's not ready to be visited yet but we have a new region being prepared. This region is a Memorial region open to all who may wish to hold memorial services or to place a remembrance of a loved one. Haven of Memories will open soon on grid.genesis-roleplay.org and it promises to be soothing and beautiful. You can come and just sit and remember the good times if that's all you want to do, the gardens will be open to all. COMING SOON!

Some New items at the Star Jinn Palisade Mall, our shopping region. A full Kitchen and Dining set complete with a working oven that has a light, exhaust fan and working broiler drawer and oven rack. The sink has a functioning dishwasher and the washer and dryer can be turned on and off with a simple "fade" command. There are cupboards in different sizes and arrangements and a full set with "glass" doors. These items are boxed and ready to go with rez instructions included. The entire region of Masala Al Kohav (which means wish upon a star) is, in fact, Star Jinn Palisade Mall. My latest build is based on a picture of a building I saw, it was a very rustic forest home that had been abandoned. I instantly fell in love with the architecture which is very simplistic but beautifully put together, hence I decided to build it in world. This build is partial mesh which is very detailed especially the terracotta tile roof. I'm working on a Japanese region and needed some fences, walls and gates so I created them. They turned out very nice especially the stone wall with the terra cotta roof tiles which are 3D and both sets are mesh with linked doors for easy set up. The stone wall has a corner piece to fill in corner gaps and they have a nice realistic look. So if you're planning anything that looks Asian, these may come in quite handy. My most recent build for our Japanese themed region. The Watatsumi Pagoda Temple. It isn't completely finished as I need to add doors and furnishings but otherwise it is complete. If you love Japanese culture and history you may well enjoy this region and the things we've built like the emperor's palace and courtyard garden, the samurai house and some Japanese houses that are beautiful and simplistic in harmony with the land. My apologies to all, but this coming Saturday's dance on the 12th is canceled as I will be attending an even IRL at my son's house and spending time with my grand babies! It's their big Halloween Bash complete with haunted forest tour and they put so much work into it that I just can't turn it down and besides who would turn down time with your grandbabies? I've been working on this turn of the century "Store House" which is a Store and a House. Back in the 19th century and early 20th century, and in fact some places still today, are designed so that folks can run their business from the first floor of their home which was generally kept separate from the living quarters of the house. This house is designed with walnut floors, sponge plaster ceilings, acacia wood trim and lattice (semi Tudor) windows. It has three chimneys which service all three floors. There was little to no indoor plumbing back then and the type of heat we have today did not exist so they had either a fireplace or coal or wood stove on each floor to provide adequate heat. Some homes did have hand pumps for water in them but most water was carried in buckets from a well nearby and heated on the coal or wood stoves to use for cooking, cleaning, laundry and bathing. If you happen to be working on a western or midwestern town setting, this build would be perfect for you. A little piece of history always adds a authentic touch to any region. It is full perm, however, it is total mesh so removing parts is not advisable, however you may re texture it, just understand that even back then, when they found wallpaper (most folks only had wood or plaster) they used the same wallpaper in every room, so if you re texture the entire inside of the build will be that texture. The walls are two faced in that you can put one texture on the outside of the building and a different one on the inside and all of the baseboards are a different texture. You may copy it and or transfer it or share it to others. Just have fun with it...Blessings and much love, Lavia

Something I've been working with for a while now was how to make a decent tree trunk and branches and finally, at last, I got one that doesn't look too bad. It's a North American Pignut Hickory, or what we always called a Hognut tree. They're beautiful and provide lots of shade especially when you're on a walk through the woods in the summer and they smell so good in the fall, and the hickory wood burning on a campfire or in a fireplace smells so good! Anyway, it's at the mall in the garden center waiting just for you to beautify your region. Pop in and take a look around and go a little "nuts"...pun intended. The tree is fully mesh and just 1 prim and it's full perm and free. Blessings and much love, Lavia

ANNOUNCING our newest department at the mall - "Heating & Cooling" and we'll have some cool stuff and hot deals for you!!! These two fireplaces are two of my original builds, but only two. There will be others and yes we'll have a few "imported" fireplaces and other items, but I will do my best to build many more items than are imported. What I have been doing is taking the houses I've built that have "heating" units and unlinking the units from the homes then placing them independently in the Heating & Cooling department. Well, our old TP system died finally with the TP panels going blank and not working for visitors, so I installed another system. I got so excited about the solid color spider mums that I couldn't resist and created tipped spider mums and they turned out quite nice I think. There are 4 different colors, red, lilac, pink and gold and they are full perm and free at the Create a Scene Garden Center here at the mall. They're right in front of the greenhouse. I don't make plants very often because, frankly, I'm not very good at it. However, I adore certain plants and so that becomes a driving force for me to create it in world. Well besides Gladiolus, Spider Mums are one of my favorite flowers, I find them stunningly beautiful. So, I decided to try my hand at making them as I've not seen them in Open Sim anywhere. In this picture you can see them all nice and planted and next to them is the box that has all 9 colors. This fun train was something I had created on the old grid under that avatar name, but I still have it and decided to put it out for folks to enjoy. It's a cute little train that would be adorable in any "park" or "playground" setting and it fits adults and kids a like. If you're region is a park or fun ride theme this little gem would work perfectly even if it does just have you going in circles (pun intended).
