I am the designated driver and life of the party whenever I go out with friends for Karaoke night. That does not motivate me to put on shows here. And yes I CAN sing quite well. I know one or two performers who do quite well (Love you Gazza) but I tend to avoid the live shows unless someone drags me to go along with them.

I think we must not forget they are amateurs, doing this for free in their spare time and pouring their heart and soul into it. Just like our DJs, builders, creators.. anyone who does more in Opensim than just have a home and grab free stuff do. So rather than judge, lets us appreciate what we are given and go to the events and places we love even if they are not perfect. It's not about perfection, it's about the community.

Yeah, except for singing, I still do everything else here.
As for singing, my take on it is: Holy crap, let’s run away—I’m terrible at singing.
It’s a matter of taste.
The singers should just see what the visitors think.
I’m not going to judge any singer here;

Ooooh that was not clear from the question, when you say "our Opensim singer" I took that as "the people who do perform as a singer in Opensim" not "how well would I personally do as an Opensim singer". If the question is about myself.. LOL well then I am definitely in the "holy crap who is torturing cats here?" category
