Please US citizens to not missunderstand US laws with GDPR. There is absolute nothing to compare, and please do not interpret freely GDPR:) Minimal yes MINIMAL fines in GDPR is 2 000 000 Euro. And GDPR is not anti IP address or home protection system.
P.S. by the way, trying to use the GDPR to threaten someone else regardless of whether or not a EU citizen is one of the serious offences.

EU laws especialy GDPR is other..... All who ask you to confirm collect data doing GDPR offense. The most serious offense possible is collecting IP and MAC addresses knowing that someone here has diseases... Ban user with dissease based on MAC address is the pollution of evolution... Better to not comment.

Not so true about to collect data and GPDR offense. Good example is the art. 6. But I dont go deeper here in law things.Everybody can read it. Companies have to collect some. But then also telling people about their rights "to be forgotten". The art6 (f) is a weak addition for customers, and often used to explain they have to collect: "...to safeguard the legitimate interests of the controller..."

This know - all OpenSIM servers who not collect money from visitors MUST BE DynamicDNS.
Why?
Because before writing bulshits likeZeta must carefully read, again read and again read ARPA documents!
