UPDATE INFO:
Okay, so with @Custom_Vehicle_Shop 's help i have reset everything again
the landing on Kaze is set @ hop://gentlefire.opensim.fun:8002/Kaze%20no%20Chiiki/25/45...
According to OSW is is supposed to go to gentlefire.opensim.fun:8002/Kaze no Chiiki/25/457/24
when i check my map for HG it lands @ hop://gentlefire.opensim.fun:8002/Kaze%20no%20Chiiki/128/1...

That means that the URL is getting lost between the site and the beacon.
Kaze is a 2x2 .
That means that @JupiterRowland possibly has the right idea.

@JupiterRowland stated "There's no issue on the OpenSim Mantis, though, so I guess the devs don't know about this bug yet. Maybe we could conduct some tests to verify the bug (if there is one), make it reproduceable and file an issue. "

How many other people are having those issues?
How do we verify the bug (if there is one), make it reproducible and file an issue?

UPDATE: i added an image of my land tab settings, there is a landing point set.

Arcfury: When you said: "when i check my map for HG it lands @ ... /128/128/ ...". I am guessing you mean that this is what you see when you check your map within firestorm. I just checked some random sites f... 4 days ago
i have replaced my OSW beacon 3x now... i have changed my beacon key and updated it, however it still has the landing at 128,128,0 when it is supposed be at 23, 458, 24. anyone know how to fix this?

OSW beacon: OpenSimWorld Package 1.202111 from OSW inWorld
- got Mar 2, 2026
- followed the instructions from the NC inside it
- placed beacon it needs to be.
- added the key.
- Currently waiting OSW.com to update it.

Any ideas?

Jupiter Rowland: From what I've read, there must be a bug in OpenSim itself that causes this malfunction. If you have a var, and you set the landing at a point with X and/or Y beyond 255, then it will always end up 12... 6 days ago
Good Afternoon! So i have been creating new textures for Kaze no Chiiki. these are traditional wooden textures based on the woods that are used in Japanese constructions. They are in the new marketplace of Kaze no Chiiki at no cost. Just click on the sign and you can have them.

The textures are:
- Bamboo
- Bengara Shu-iro (traditional wood finish)
- Hinoki (Cypress)
- Keyaki (Japanese Zelkova)
- Kiri (Paulownia)
- Kuri (Chestnut)
- Sugi (Japanese Cedar)

Each comes with information, building suggestions and more. Thank you for letting me provide traditional construction materials.

MorningGlory: So lovely 14 days ago
here are 8 new texture packs based historically on Edo-era Japan. They can be found in the marketplace jut beyond the park in Kaze no Chiiki. I hope you enjoy them. Thank you for letting me offer traditional Japanese materials.
I want to update this because there have been some noise about Kaze no Chiiki.
I run a very busy life and i have been away since the end of November.
I have also been very ill and had to replace my entire inventory.
I am still ill, but I have returned to work on my region.
It is no secret, i have currently developing an entire Japanese expansion of VivoSim with new plants (118 to be exact) and honestly, that takes time.

With that being said, yeah, there are buildings laid down, areas parceled off and a lot of work that goes unseen, including research to make sure that I don't insult the Japanese way of life.

So if you visit Kaze no Chiiki, let it be knows that it is being built over time, with a lot of care, custom designs and custom scripting. Between illness, RL and family, i am doing the best I can.

JamieWright: There are no deadlines here Annah. These projects take as long as they need to. It sounds like a labour of love:) 15 days ago
Kaze has changed names and has expanded. It is now Kaze no Chiiki and has been designed on a 2x2 with VivoSim, drive-able vehicles, 10 areas to explore and more. This is a work in progress, but open to all. In time there will be shops (freebies, Japanese style furniture, decor, etc), VivoSim Japanese expansions and more. Don't forget to stop in the shop at the landing and get your free Kimono (female only right now) and become part of the region!
Kaze no Sato is back and still is in the rebuild stage, but open to HG visitors. We have the following:
- Kaze no Poto: the landing
- The Park
- Markeplace (still building)
- Dorei Chiku (building)
- Kaze no Sato (residences, shopping - still building)
- The Farm (VivoSim - Japanese addition)
- Volcano Island (still building)
- The Wilds (the coast and forests - still building)
