GRID DOWN UNTIL FEB, DUE TO PERSONAL TRAVEL. Phantom Rose Bayou, on the Phantom Rose Grid, is a Role Play region for dark Fantasy and gothic creatures. Magic, quests and more! Bayou has two distinct faces. Set in fantasy New Orleans in 1798, the City is has the culture and elegance of any European locale. It is the Regency period in Europe and its influence has spread all the way to the Colonies! As you tour the City you will see Spanish and French influences in the architecture. There is a shopping area next to the Assembly Room, (all free gifts) where you will find a dressmaker with free Regency gowns, a Gentleman's shop with Regency period mens wear, (both made by Lannorra Sion) along with other shops that feature food, cake plates, and accessories.
As you take in the beauty of this city, you could believe that any minute you will run into Beau Brummel or Lord Bridgerton, himself!
While the City is the epicenter for the New Orleans High Society, the other face of the Bayou, starts to take form as you leave the City behind and head towards the swamps. You can boat on the Haunted Lake, where long ago a village stood. People say that there are magical creatures called mermaids and even a ghost or two. Take a swamp boat, and follow the meandering river that makes a circle around the out lying area. As you move deeper into the overgrown landscape, you might find the Ruins of a decaying old River Mansion, or you might come upon a Pagan Drum circle. Stop to visit Voodoo Marie's. There are free gifts of potions and a Vampire Hunter Kit! Further along the river you might decide to stop at Desolate Mansion, which lives up to its spooky name. The river is alive with sound and alligators, with lush vegetation. You will feel the magic in the air as you slowly drift along.
You will come upon the Dark Nights section of the Bayou. Only the most intrepid and brave travelers will enter these dark woods, where Dark Fantasy lives and Black Magic flourishes. There are two magic circles with active Grimoires (Spell books) for you to discover your own magic. One is for Wiccan and one is for Dark Magic. Vampires, Demons, Witches and Voodoo roam here; epic adventures and treasure await you, should you be courageous enough to follow the Quest! There are legal freebies and many unique items made by Lannorra Sion, such as a Vampire Hunter kit, quill pen and ink, Regency Clothing and food items. You can dance, drum or simply meditate to the ancient harmony that surrounds you! Truly a magical experience. Set your sun to midnight, hop to Phantom Rose Bayou, then take the regional teleporter directly to the Pagan Drum area. This is a place of peace and all creatures are welcome!

The Dark Nights RP area is dedicated to gothic, supernatural creatures, Vampires, Demons, Witches and Voodoo to name a few. We are an easy going area, great for beginners. Wednesdays from 11am - 2pm Join us for open role play (RP). Dark Nights is a gothic RP area for Vampires, Demons, Witches, Voodoo and other dark fantasy creatures. There are 3 levels of RP area; the surface, Bon Temps (level 1) and the Demon area (level 2). We are open to any gothic races, just have some back story ready. I have put out some Vampire bite animators around the area and also have a Ritual Room at Bon Temps that has Vampire bites. I will be adding more as I have time. Jump to Phantom Rose Bayou, then take the Regional Teleporter directly to Dark Nights. Set your sun for Midnight and come add to our story! In addition there are 2 Magic Circles (wiccan and dark magic), a Voodoo ceremonial area, a Pagan Drum Circle, gothic Mermaid area at Haunted Lake, a maze with prize at the center and many other activities.
