hey all you hyper gridders, guess what. You can have a free little piece of land right in vb without a local account.
All you have to do is find an empty parcel and click the mailbox, you can rent the parcel for two months. just make sure to renew the parcel every 2 months to keep your little island.
Each parcel island is 128x128
REGION IS BACK ONLINE, IF YOU HAD A REGION HERE, YOU WILL HAVE TO RECLAIM IT AND REBUILD.

SOMETIMES PEOPLE LIKE TO LIVE ON THE EDGE INCUDING ME, I LOVE DG. SOMETIMES WHEN YOU LIVE ON THE EDGE AND UPDATE DG WITH BETAS YOU RUN INTO ISSUES. THE GRID HAD LOADING ISSUES ALONG WITH LOADING OAR ONTO THIS REGION.
IT TURNS OUT THE ISSUE WITH GETTING THE REGION BACK WAS A CORRUPTED OAR. I HAVE ROLLED BACK TO A STABLE VERSION AND HOPEFULLY WILL NOW BE ABLE TO DO SYSTEM WIDE BACKUPS AND SHOULD HAVE NO MORE LOADING REGION ISSUES.
I ALSO WANT TO THANK FRED FOR ALL HIS HARD WORK!

If you have land in this region you will have go and reclaim it once its back online. you will have to re build.
I am so sorry this happend, not sure how but an oar got on the region and erased what was there.
And before anyone asks about recent backups, due to issues with dream grid we cant do any current backups until its fixed. once we get things settles, I will do a system wide backup as well as oars.
A PEICE OF ADVICE, DONT LIVE ON THE EDGE LIKE US AND TRY BETAS LOL THEY ARE CALLED BETAS FOR A REASON, STICK WITH THE CURRENT VERSION FRED SAYS IS STABLE.

REGION IS BACK!
Turns out the ini file deleted itself lol, not the first time i have had this happen.

I am aware of an issue with this region not being accessible via HG, map, teleport or grid members. The region shows in the Dreamgrid regions folder but not in the main GUI window. I do get emails about expired rentals which indicates its online but there is no dos box to prove that.
The cause of this is unknown, DG was recently updated to fix another issue. I noticed the region having issues after the update. Update doesn't mean its the cause.
I will fix this as soon as i can or once I know how lol. Apologies to all who have rental's on this region in my grid.
I know I can create a mantis but lets see if I can solve this on my own, maybe my tech guy will be able to figure it out, he is very smart but also so busy. So I guess I am putting my brain to work lol.
