THE OBJECT OF THE GAME / GAMEPLAY
๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ WHOโ€™S THE IMPOSTOR?

Think you know the secret? Prove it.

At the start of the game, every playerโ€”except oneโ€”receives the same secret word. But thereโ€™s a twist: the Impostor doesnโ€™t get the word. Instead, they receive a clue and must use it to blend in.
๐ŸŽฏ HOW TO PLAY

Each round, every player takes a turn giving a ONE-WORD response related to the secret word.

Players with the secret word: Use your word to come up with a clever response without making it too obvious.

The Impostor: Use the clue to figure out the secret word and give a response convincing enough to fool everyone.

Then comes the fun partโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ‘€ SPOT THE IMPOSTOR

Once everyone has answered, itโ€™s time to review, discuss, and investigate. Analyze every response. Question every answer. Trust no one.

Finally, everyone votes for the player they believe is the Impostor.
๐Ÿ† WILL YOU CATCH THEM?

Can the players uncover the Impostor before they escape?

Or will the Impostor blend in, fool the group, and get away undetected?

The word is secret. The answers are suspicious. And one player is trying to fool you.

LET THE GAME BEGIN!

I have updated(up-cycled) the bonfire to align with the sun and moon positions for systems with a dayโ€“night cycle. During daylight, the flames will extinguish, and at night the fire will reignite with a dynamic flickering light effect, and it is available in my shop.

Recommended accessories include campfire Sounds (featuring immersive pops and crackles) and a smoke effect, which can be added using a smoke particle emitter placed beneath the bonfire for enhanced atmosphere.

Gentle Dragonheart: Really loving this. The bonfire itself comes without sound which I love. Being very sensitive to, especially repetetive, sounds the average Opensim campfire drove me bonkers and had me rip out the sou... 2 months ago
I have added a modified Auto Return script.

The original behavior could be inconvenient when using vehicles for exploration. For example, if you traveled by boat, car, or another vehicle and then exited it at your destination, the vehicle would immediately auto-return, leaving you stranded. The alternative was for region owners to disable auto-return entirely, which isn't always desirable.

This modified script changes that behavior. The vehicle will now only auto-return if the driver leaves the region. This allows you to park your vehicle while you enjoy an adventure, picnic, sightseeing, or any other activity, and still have it available for your return trip. Once you leave the region, the vehicle will automatically return itself, keeping the area organized without interrupting your outing.

Update: Iโ€™ve also added a water bobbing script for the boat. The bobbing effect is active when the boat is stationary, and it automatically suspends while underway so you can sail smoothly. Once the boat comes to a stop, the bobbing resumes, allowing it to float naturally on the water until movement begins again.

Update: Fixed an issue where the script would not automatically return when a player logged out. Also resolved a bug that caused returned vehicles and objects to lose their original rotation.

Update: Fixed issue where ship would eventually list: Latest is beta 3c.

Today's only one item add.. Silver Sequins! Tintable of course!

4 New Textures and they are all carpets.
Two of the carpets are Retro Roller Rink Black Light Emmisive Carpet - Adjust the (Black Light) glow and tint to your liking. :)

Coming soon, my neon tube controller. Adjustable Brightness, Glow, Radius, etc. Comes with Static colors and preprogrammed patterns including Marquee and Rainbow Flow. I'll update this post when I get finished testing and documenting the instructions (Not complicated, I'm just lazy). If you want to see a functional one, head over to Alba's Sex Club to the burlesque room with team member for a demo.
New PBR Materials:
- Brushed Gold
-Brushed Silver
- Bronze
-Brick Wall
- Natural Grey Rock
- Bark with Tree stump
- Wood Planks
- Black leather
- Red Cloth (Kinda like Deadpool's Suit Red Material)
- White Stucco Wall (Tintable )
- Stone Wall
- Red Corrugated Metal

Take them, Host Them, Share Them

Sooo, Added a few new materials and I think I have the glass figured out. Some Textured glass, Stained Glass, Mirror Ball, and some lace

JamieSmith: I also updated the Chainmail for transparency between the links 9 months ago
Now at 221 PBR materials. Today's dump includes building facades for day and night use with the emissions layer. You can change the light colors base upon the tint color and the intensity with the glow adjustment. So much more to bring in, but running out of room at the shop! What is your favorite PBR material so far? Mine are the melted wax and the dunes in today's drop.

NightshadeCeres: still love this one matte gold, you named it like a fabric (satin?), but I see it more as a metal. and now I see there is bubble foil? not sure what to do with, but squeaking anyway! ๐Ÿคฉ 9 months ago

Now at 192 PBR Materials and growing! I would also like to say, that I am ok with you taking them and posting them in your stores/grids/whatever...but never, EVER sell for money.

NightshadeCeres: oh, these looks interesting! 9 months ago
What is PBR?
PBR (Physically Based Rendering) is a rendering approach that uses physics-based calculations for more realistic lighting, while Blinn-Phong is a non-physically based, older shading model that approximates specular highlights. PBR uses techniques like energy conservation and microfacet models to create more accurate materials that react realistically to light, whereas Blinn-Phong often produces a plastic-like, less realistic appearance. PBR is generally more computationally efficient and produces more consistent results because it focuses on the material's properties rather than the final rendered output.

PBR (Physically Based Rendering)
- Based on physics: PBR is a collection of techniques that aim to mimic how light interacts with surfaces in the real world.
- Realistic output: It produces more realistic results because it uses inputs like the material's microfacet properties and energy conservation to calculate how light reflects.
- Consistent results: The final appearance is more predictable and consistent because it is not based on a specific "look" but on physical principles.
- Efficient: PBR is often more efficient, as it relies on a smarter implementation where a single material object contains all the necessary textures and a single drag-and-drop can apply them.
- Example textures: Uses textures like metallic, roughness, and normal maps to define the material's physical properties.

Blinn-Phong
- Approximation: It is a non-physically based shading model that approximates the appearance of light reflection.
- Less realistic output: It can produce a "plastic" or less realistic look because it doesn't account for real-world light behavior.
- Fixed pipeline: It was developed for older fixed-function graphics pipelines and works by calculating a specular highlight based on the angle between the view direction and a halfway vector, rather than the more complex rendering equation.
- Texture maps: It typically uses diffuse, specular, and other texture maps to define its appearance.

So what does that all mean? It means PBR is more efficient and better at handling how light reacts with a material, producing a more realistic rendering. So PBRs are considered materials and not simply textures, because all the bumps, surface roughness and textures are included on one packaged resource.

In the upper image, I put a light source between two cubes.
LEFT: PBR
RIGHT: Blinn_phong
You can see how the light reflects correctly on the left and the right looks more plasticy

In the bottom picture is:
LEFT: PBR Drag and drop
MIDDLE: Blinn-Phong Adjusted, meaning I turned down the default shininess
RIGHT: Default Blinn-Phong No adjustments made

89 PBR Materials ranging from cloth, stone, wood, terrain and metals. More to come!

Buoys! Performed some updates on this buoy. PBR makeover and now this buoy bobs and rocks in the water. (Place in sim water and then touch it to auto height adjust.) Also some PBR materials in the shop, custom signs at request.
