Encantada

The cone flower as I call them or "echinacea" the official name. Apparently the name echinacea is from the Greek word meaning sea urchin due to the flowers' center. They're perennial so no need to replant each year (especially the virtual variety).

The Quatro Spray Fountain is one of the fountains at the shop which lends itself to using the water lilies. I like it cause it has all that spray :).

New Release at Encantada. This one is another replica of a RL sculpture.
The Spoon Bridge and Cherry are in the Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis.
My version is located just to the left of the main shop building. You definitely can't miss it :D. It can be resized, you just may need to adjust the water particle script.

Black-Eyed Susans, so very, very common. Apparently they are in Western Europe, 10 Canadian provinces, the 48 contiguous US states and China. Oh yes, also virtual at Encantada ;)

I made a replica of Jeff Koons' "Balloon Dog". Turns out, the original was the most expensive piece of art sold by a living artist coming in at a cool 58 million usd. "Encantada" Balloon Dog replica....the cheapest...free, free, free :))).

I made the Egg Mobile for an Easter contest. There is however a version without the Happy Easter available too. Just in case you feel the need to ride in the sky on a giant steampunky egg.

If you would like to add a little movement to your sim that won't cause you lag, try out the animesh butterflies at Encantada. Quite a few species available :)

Well, it's been a while to say the least. Rl stuff kicked my butt however I've finally got a new release for the shop. It's just a static decor piece but had to start somewhere getting back in the swing of things.
This is my deconstructing moon, it has versions with and without particles and there is an xl version with adjusted particle size as well. Texture is in the box and all pieces are fp. It's located over in the fantasy area of the shop next to the fairies :).
New release is out today.

I did some stylized garden gnomes.
You never know when or where you are going to need a gnome...they look mischievous when they are small or large, it's just the look they have on their, well, not faces. Maybe it's just their general demeanor :D.

I've included the textures in the package for those who like to mod them or mix and match the colours.

Have a great day!

Aaack: Cute! 2 years ago
New release today. Something for the garden, at least we can have virtual spring ;)

This one is a victorian-ish garden gazebo.
It has several versions that's aren't all on display at the shop since the gazebo is pretty large. There are 2 metal choices, 2 clematis colors, and 2 vine configurations. Textures are inside a version in the box and an enclosed notecard has all the info.
The vines and the chandeliers are separate objects so they are optional for those who just want the structure.

Have a lovely day!

Aaack: I love that design, it goes with everything! 2 years ago
Ok, I promise, the last polar bear item ;) These are in the event you are tired of just having snowmen in the yard. Polar bear snow sculptures are out in the winter section. These guys really like to have a good time.
Well, from time to time you just need a lamp that goes with almost everything. Basic lamps called the "Daily" lamps, they are available in the main shop building. The textures are included so they can be customized and there's also a menu script which includes the option of having them go on and off automatically with the sim day cycle....but, hey, if you want, go ahead, leave the lights on.
New Release at Encantada. It's ready and out at the shop. The Encantada Pergola. It's user friendly and has 4 different set up options and 3 different wood tones.
The touch menu script was provided by my friend Aaack at Arcadia Shop, I'm super grateful for his help on this one.
You're covered in this Pergola, rain or shine day or night :). You can have it just plain, with a canopy, a light or whatever combo you choose.
Azalea's, when you want that southern feeling. They do well in full sun to part shade but keep your dog away from them cause they are poisonous for them...I'm pretty sure the virtual ones are safe though.

It's a hot one today...I thought a fountain was appropriate. My first fountain, the Pineapple Fountain, when you need a piece of fruit and some water to keep you cool.

New flower release, this one was something I've wanted to try to make for a long time.
The Alliums, giant fluffy colour balls basically :D. Apparently they are part of the onion family, I always thought they were much prettier than onions ;).
Now that it's August (already!!), I'll probably soon be working on one or 2 new items for Halloween. One of the currently available Halloween items at the shop is the Scary Trees. You can have them with or without mist and dead ferns, also, there is an option to have them say scary things to you when you touch them. The overlord sounds like a real sweetheart....well, not so much.

Roses, more flora for the garden, you just have to watch out for those thorns!

There's several types of wild grass at the shop, some you would even call "fantasy" (Ikr, pink grass in a virtual world, not really a stretch :D). I seem to keep adding to them, ground cover always comes in handy.
Sometimes, when life gives you lemons, you just want the lemons. They are incredibly useful in the kitchen, they work for cleaning, cooking and drink making. Yes, they taste sour that's what makes them so fabulous! Have them on hand all the time...virtually.

In the event of heavy winds or storms, some heavier furniture in the garden is helpful. Concrete, now that's sturdy :D, table, seats and a bird bath.

I love this shrub in the fall, the colour of red is really amazing. In the summer, it's a mild mannered green shrub but come fall, the fire bush earns it's name.

The OSGB14 celebration starts on the 18th. Encantada is participating with a display, tropical in theme. Stop by for a bahama mamma or blue lagoon, grab a logo sparkler from the cake and touch the large logo in front for some steel band birthday music. You have to be on the display land plot to hear it but then you can dance like no one is watching...I mean listening.

Something for the tropics. The fan palm is nice for variety in the landscape, a little extra flora for the beach or jungle :).

Elm Trees are located right next to the landing point. The trees in that main aisle have both the fall and summer versions included in the one box on the summer side :).

Second new release this week is the Sail Shade. Keeps the sun off in style. comes in 3 wood colours and works well with the new patio furniture. Lights go on with the day/night cycle thanks to Aaack at Arcadia:).
A new release today. Things were getting a little tight in the summer garden section so I had to carve out half of the desert section for some new summer accessory releases. I feel a shop reno coming on eventually but for now this is going to have to do.

This time it's some summer outdoor furniture, it will co ordinate with my next couple of releases. It's colourable and I've included the textures in the box for those who wish to mod them. 3 wood colour versions are already included. It uses SFPoser so you can change anims as you like.
Well I already went there with Halloween in July so why not Christmas. If you want to look delicious for the Holidays you may want to wear the Gingerbread Man avatar I made, or, you can just have him dance around as an animesh along with his mini gingerbread animesh friend. If you are really brave and don't mind being stepped on occasionally, wear the mini Gingerbread Man avatar :D

Rhododendrons...the perfect thing when you're not sure if you want flowers or a shrub. They come in 3 group sizes so you can fit a small or larger space.

The Whirligigs...I'm sure there's some other official name for them but that's what I call them. These have parts that spin in opposite directions so they really add some movement to the landscape, put in one or more of these, some animesh butterflies and animated tree leaves and it's a happening place :)

Cherry blossom trees can make a mess on the ground, but, when you're pretty and pink, all is forgiven. The mess the Encantada trees make is always removable so, win/win.

Encantada Aloe Vera, handy when you've been out in the sun too long. Also handy if you have a cactus garden or just plain live in the desert.

In the shop, there are just a few home decor items I hope to add to along with the furniture. I needed a vase for my house which is how I ended up with the Victorian Vases.

Some snowy, some without. Technically the evergreens can be year round but I like how they look in the winter section of the shop. A few varieties of spruce and some pine too. Sadly, I can't give them virtual smell.
I have a Christmas section in the shop that's there year round. I add a little each season. There are several snow globes and I also included plain versions that can be used year round. There's even a person sized one you can dance in...or just have the npc's dance for you :)
I've made several fountains. This one is probably the least conventional, I call it the "Leg Jug" (so original, I know). I was either feeling creative that day or experiencing some kind of opium soaked dream from another life. Anyway, for the creative gardener, it's pretty versatile, it can be used on it's own or in other fountains.

If what your Sim really needs is an apple orchard, or, you just want some apples, Encantada can help with that.

Hedges and Topiaries. When you need something a little more formal and a little black dress won't serve the purpose :).

The layout of Encantada is supposed to be by seasons. It's not exactly that but I try to group things from the same environment together. The boxes around the edges are for plants and I use the intersections for fountains and sculptures. When I run out of spots, I may have to make some big changes but for now, these are the general areas.

New Release of a beach\patio daybed along with a V2 of some matching rattan furniture. All pieces use SFPoser (thanks Satyr Aeon!).

Perfect for that relaxed tropical environment. Encantada Bird of Paradise plant, no maintenance and blooms all the time ;)
