You were one of the first whose messages I read when I joined OSW. Always witty, out of the box, fun at times. But I agree with you. Some of us use virtual worlds as a way to escape a reality that is too much to bear, whether it is dealing with health problems, family losses, you name it. And when you finally find closure, it comes natural to get out of the virtual and get back to the real, perhaps with a new frame of mind. So I wish you luck and...maybe there will be a time when you have a bout of nostalgia and come back to visit. I did it, several times :-D

Sometimes I think it is good I am a 63-year-old gay man, so I am closer to death than I am to life. This constant hate speech for ANYTHING that even remotely upsets ANYONE is something I do not think I would be able to live with when I am older.

I have been repeatedly banned from SL for "ageplay" I never committed and whenever I tried to appeal I was treated like a criminal.
