A new release today. Things were getting a little tight in the summer garden section so I had to carve out half of the desert section for some new summer accessory releases. I feel a shop reno coming on eventually but for now this is going to have to do.
This time it's some summer outdoor furniture, it will co ordinate with my next couple of releases. It's colourable and I've included the textures in the box for those who wish to mod them. 3 wood colour versions are already included. It uses SFPoser so you can change anims as you like.
I have a Christmas section in the shop that's there year round. I add a little each season. There are several snow globes and I also included plain versions that can be used year round. There's even a person sized one you can dance in...or just have the npc's dance for you :)
I made some kitchen cupboards a while ago, mostly because I only found cupboards in set configurations. These are modular with 2 colour choices, silver or gold handles and scripted doors and drawers. I've included all the textures and occlusion maps in case anyone wants to make their own textures.
The street lamps on Encantada go on and off with the day cycle of the sim. They all run off 1 master slave script to keep things efficient. They are available with master and slave as well as a single manual version. The box is in the landing point area.
I just added an update to the Encantada Hibiscus shrubs. I've done an orange flower in addition to the red, pink and yellow. There's also a second version of the shrub shape (it's just a small variation). They are located with the tropical plants beside the beach section :).
Turns out that the animesh ghosts at the shop did a little asset disappearing act on the week end. Thank you Thomas for letting me know. I've replaced all the items in the box and tested them several times taking them in and out of inventory and the replacements seem to be working just fine. The ghosts come in 2 movement patterns both with or without random spooky ghost sounds.
I was walking by them this morning and thought, hey, why not post pumpkins and Jack O Lanterns on the 4th of July......I don't know, it was like they were speaking to me, the Jack O Lanterns will mock you if you touch them.
I was getting ready for this years OSgrid 14th Birthday exhibit and pulled out some things I had made last year. I found these balloons I made that spell out happy birthday and play the birthday song while giving out a few fireworks. I thought, hey, that's festive and you never know when you're going to need birthday decorations (well, I suppose you do given the annual occurrence of birthdays :D).
They are out in the shop building and ready to party. Touch them for the song and display.
Some snowy, some without. Technically the evergreens can be year round but I like how they look in the winter section of the shop. A few varieties of spruce and some pine too. Sadly, I can't give them virtual smell.
The layout of Encantada is supposed to be by seasons. It's not exactly that but I try to group things from the same environment together. The boxes around the edges are for plants and I use the intersections for fountains and sculptures. When I run out of spots, I may have to make some big changes but for now, these are the general areas.
Well, I've had summer and fall maple trees out at the shop for a while but I decided I couldn't go any longer without adding red maples to the summer section. The box for the maples has been updated and all versions are inside.
A classic in any garden, elegant garden urns in 2 finishes. They work as decor on their own or with plants. I can't remember a time when these couldn't be found in most garden centres.
In the shop, there are just a few home decor items I hope to add to along with the furniture. I needed a vase for my house which is how I ended up with the Victorian Vases.
New Release at Encantada. This one is another replica of a RL sculpture.
The Spoon Bridge and Cherry are in the Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis.
My version is located just to the left of the main shop building. You definitely can't miss it :D. It can be resized, you just may need to adjust the water particle script.
The Encantada Crystals are scripted and allow you to choose your crystal and light colour, just touch and choose. You never know when you will need a little magic.
Well, it's been a long time since I had a new release, I've been super busy RL so it's been slowing me down.
I actually started this little shack last year for sim decor in a winter area I have. I've made it more multi purpose with 4 versions and one of the summer ones has scripted patio lanterns.
It's large enough to have a seat or 2 inside and you can of course fix it up however you like. The textures are inside the patio lantern version.
The espresso machine and kerosene lantern shown in the winter version are available at Arcadia Shop :)))).
All versions are available in either the beach or winter sections of Encantada.
The OSGB14 celebration starts on the 18th. Encantada is participating with a display, tropical in theme. Stop by for a bahama mamma or blue lagoon, grab a logo sparkler from the cake and touch the large logo in front for some steel band birthday music. You have to be on the display land plot to hear it but then you can dance like no one is watching...I mean listening.
I thought I would post a pic of one of my favorite builds. It's the elevator in my shop building. I haven't put it out to take since it's quite specific to it's location and unfortunately it wouldn't modify well. You can however ride up and down on it thanks to some nice scripting by my friend Aaack at Arcadia. There is even a little "ding" noise when it arrives at it's destination. Someday there will even be items on the second floor...
Black-Eyed Susans, so very, very common. Apparently they are in Western Europe, 10 Canadian provinces, the 48 contiguous US states and China. Oh yes, also virtual at Encantada ;)
