Thanks for posting this Cheryl it's very interesting, I do think that which grid you come from does affect the performance on external grids. I'd be really interested if your friend could test each avatar individually.

With her gamer Laptop she has always highest 60 fps. It is limited to 60 fps. So perhaps it is better to look with a computer that is not that good for this game. Then you can see much better the differences. For my MacBook Air it is just few fps difference each but I have never more than 30 fps anyway. lol But it is also depending on viewer why I only use 6.6.8 Firestorm. This is the best viewer for my MacBook. All newer drop my framerate.

I can't get to your regions at all it just says "Region Not Found", even pinging playground.darkheartsos.com just returns nothing so I don't know if the server has issues?

Nah, it's on DH. They banned an individual via ASN restriction - and now everyone in the ASN (which happens to be A LOT of people) at Hertzer's DE is getting banned :(

My hunch is that they possibly banned some MAC addresses that happen to block massive amounts of data centers that are known to host opensim grids in the bid to stop a troublemaker, but in doing so have created a sort of blanket ban on a much bigger scale than realized.
I seem to be able to get there from my home hosted regions without a problem.

Oh just visit - find a peacekeeper, but Wolf Grid is over 30000 second life regions in side, about 600 square miles!
