Announcing the opening of the Raven's Peak Grid (ex Resurgence).

We managed to find an old backup from a month ago and have loaded it up. Not ideal, however we are all encouraged that not all is lost!

We have decided on a separate landing area to the main regions. You will now land on an island where you can TP to the region of your choice using the region teleporter.

The shops are open along with Hellfire Bay and Cinders Beach & Residential. We are all working hard to re-upload all our lost items and more! This means everything else has been put on hold so we can bring you quality items once again. So pop on over regularly because there will be new items in the stores daily.

If you were living at Cinders Beach prior to the hack, please contact Mike or Zoey. Either your island is still standing and needs to be handed back to you or it was lost. Either way, we can certainly assist.

We do have whole regions available and payable monthly POA:
1x1 - 30,000 prims
2x2 - 60,000 prims
4x4 - 90,000 prims

There are shops available for rent in the main shopping area. If you are interested in having a store here please contact either Mike or Zoey. Store owners are provided with a free 1x1 region with full admin rights.

As we get back on our feet again, we will be reverting back to our original plans to bring you a grid that you can live at, play at, shop at and more. The regions currently allow you to sail and fly around, we will be bringing back our Friday and Saturday night events and there will be lots more coming!

It is our sincerest wish that everyone dispenses with all the debates about rights and wrongs and accepts that what we do, we do for the purest of reasons and for the good of everyone.

Current Affairs Statement:

We are not concerned with traffic numbers or grid rankings and we have no desire to provide a mall or store and have our grid constantly feeding hungry travellers who take everything in a single visit. We provided items that could be used in stores and malls who do wish traffic and numbers and rankings and if that is how they want to play? We will not interfere. We should all be able to have fun and share the good things OS has to offer without any dramas. However, many people seem to have an issue with this and others also want to claim kudos for new products on their regions which we developed and they simply removed our logo and rebox them. As if this wasn't enough? They then restrict the perms to no copy or no trans or both. This is in direct contradiction to why we developed the assets in the first instance and this is why despite our 'Mission Statement' and wish to avoid dramas we have removed our products.
We will continue to develop and build on the assets we had always planned on doing and when the Open Sim community is ready to treat both our assets and our wishes with respect we may release them but until then we remain NotSorry.

Did you know?

At my exhibition parcel on OSG's 15th. birthday you can find a beach party theme.

I made several object that are available only on that parcel for now, including:

A log with single and couple poses.
A recliner with single poses.
A battered apple box with single poses.
A cooler with soda cans and beer.
A barrel BBQ that gives burgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob and kabobs.
A simple fireplace.
A couple of beach counters.

The food will animate you and it'll disappear gradually as you consume it.

Every animation, mesh, script, texture and sound was made by myself, in order to celebrate the creativity of the grid I call home.

Just visited SL and looking through the very first jewelry I created. This set is in gold but I brought in the ring, made it silver. Things that are going on in the world today are causing division between friends and family, so there is no surprise that it is happening here in Opensim as well.

We can't always agree on everything in life and so I make no apology for standing for what i believe in. If that offends you even to the point that our friendships break over such things, so be it. There is nothing worse than lying to yourself to please others. If those friendships cannot stand a few disagreements every now and then, then they not really your friends in the first place and do not mourn their loss.

Last week saw the passing of one of the greatest artists of the last century. Portuguese born Paula Rego, who has died aged 87, once said that she liked “to work on the edge”, and her many series of paintings and drawings, about the subjugation of women, abortion and the marriage market, cut across social perceptions of the role of women, and disrupted the male view of women and their sexuality.

The Art Factory has lovingly recreated a replica of the Cascais museum that houses much of her work. The Architect Eduardo Souto de Moura was from Oporto, Portugal. https://www.designboom.com/architecture/eduardo-souto-de-m...

Cascais is located near Estoril where Paula grew up and Ericeira where she lived and worked with her husband Victor Willing. Paula studied at the Slade school of art and died peacefully on the 8th of June in North London.
