What is orb? Orb is a webtop operating system. This means, it's like having a working windows desktop computer, but in a browser window. WHY DOES IT MATTER? Well, imagine your avatar has a tablet in their hand, or cell phone, or a laptop. Now imagine your avatar can zoom in on the screen AND RUN REAL WORLD APPS and save data. Example: Your avatar could have a tablet in their hand that is running firestorm they are using to control another avatar. o.O You get it? Not only that, but this webtop computer is super fast and super responsive (no lag or delay at all). All you do is go here: https://gitlab.com/hsleisink/orb and download the latest release of orb to your linux machine, then gunzip it, then tar -xf. Then take the folder structure to your webroot. THIS WILL GIVE EVERY USER ON YOUR GRID THE ABILITY TO HAVE INWORLD WORKING DEVICES. Many users can set up free accounts. What's more is that letters they type and so on will be saved in their instance protected by their user name and password. :) Pretty cool huhhh? My latest and probably most difficult memorial build, not that it was hard to do, but that it is a memorial to my very first pet who was so loyal, loving and protective. Wolfie was truly my best friend and to this day I miss him. He was half great Dane and half Siberian Husky and looked very much like a Canadian Timberwolf, hence his name. He was the most adorable puppy and grew into a beautiful and amazing adult dog. His memory will be forever treasured by me, but building the memorial brought a few tears to my eyes, I loved my boy.

We are at 14 and growing for the "Friends of The Genesis Roleplay Grid" wall. If you are not aware of it, to be on the Friends of the GRPG wall, all you have to do, is contact me, Lavia Lavine, either here in message or in world and let me know you want to have your region or grid represented in the wall. This will get you a walk through portal from our grid to yours and it will bear your logo and landmark, and that's really all there is to it. Some have asked me why I do this, well it's because with all the hatred, negativity and ridiculous competition in open sim, I felt it would be good to do something positive, just as I've seen other's do from time to time. It's not a "new" idea but it is sure a good one to get regions and grids networking with each other and growing a larger community. It's truly amazing to see the wonderful, beautiful creations that people have come up with for their grids and it's great fun to share it by networking. You may want to use this image at your place to show its a space free from homophobia, and to indicate your alliance with LGBT rights. ANNOUNCING the newest shop to join the Star Jinn Palisade Mall at Masala Al Kohav is COSPLAY CORNER the proprietor is Artman Xue, a dear friend from several years ago. When he saw what we're trying to accomplish here at the mall, he volunteered to bring a portion of his shop to our grid and offer his amazing costumes, which he creates for classic avatars (and mesh) and offer them here for free to our visitors and role players. We very much appreciate Artman for doing this! He also joined our "Friends of the Genesis Roleplay Grid" family so there is a portal from our grid to his where you can find more of his great creations!

We also have some other new shops like Thor's Forge, Indego's Market and Boutique, Heart of the Matter Boutique, and Creations by Tainted Angel. This THING. It's a globe of the sky which turns around the flat earth. A sun & moon also turn around the flat earth. The earth (map of your sim?) sits on the backs of 4 elephants which are standing on a turtle. I found this and it was very old and very broken. I fixed it. It is now at the school of magic on wizardry for you to copy. Note: The school of magic is not the magic store, it's the building you can fly over to beside the castle.

To all the role players out there, we are opening many of our public regions to role players to use as "sets" to film their role play. Perhaps you have a story to tell, but you don't have the time, or perhaps not the skill, to build a fitting "set" for your role play scenes but would LOVE to film your characters in action. We have multiple types of regions to use as your backdrop from the Ancient BC Era to Futuristic Sci Fi and they're here for you to use in creating your video. No, this is not a hallocination.....This is the Twin Sim to Cockatiels paradise called " Paraiso das Calopsitas ". The whole sim is still under construction but at least Froggie Ponds creations are back. Even the artwork on the pictures for the items is genius. There you can see how much love and details she had put in.
On the sim you will find this and that items, funny costumes for system avatars, Avatars on the upper floor and a lot more to come...
